Tori I really like your centerpieces, you can always put them in the same bag as your dress, that way you dont have to carry them on and they will be kept nice and safe!!

If you are going to be planning punta cana, I would have to advise you NOT to go with november, as that is high time for their hurricane season, I was originally going to go with Punta Cana, and this is why. woooo hooooo, now I have a place to chit chat AND a place to OOT ahaha. thanksss tori! OH guess what, I got my wedding ring designed! YAY! Its a channel band, the two outer rows are white diamonds, and the inner row is black diamond... I am VERY excited to see the final product when it is made, I will take a picture for you! Everyone at the store was amazed with what I had designed, they had never seen/thought of using black diamonds in a wedding ring! Hopefully it turns out well... I cant believe I am putting together all the pieces now... my next task is to figure out some decor... My resort wants 3500 for decorations.... EEEEEEK thats more than our flights combined, or our dinner AND open bar combined... I dont understand, since most of the stuff can be reusable... oh well.. I am considering getting most of it myself, but then there is the question of wether or not I will have time to decorate, or if I can even get it down there... hmmmm are you ladies doing anything yourself for decor, or just biting the bullet and paying? My ceremony is fully decorated, but not my reception!

I am going to the Breezes Trewlawny resort in Jamaica. It does not have a high star rating, but I heard the service is AMAZING and their beach is great. My guests paid 927 and some paid 866. I have had friends go to this resort and they said they had the best time, they have also recently done some renovations, so apparently it is no as "outdated" as some used to say. The only thing that made me nervous is some of the reviews, but then again, its usually the ones with negative views that take the time to review resorts, right? I think you should check it out, the pictures looked nice, and as I said, I know a few people who went on two seperate occasions and they love it.

Which bags did you buy? Well my issue was that when you ironed, the bags melted (which was odd because they were NOT supposed to be synthetic, 100% polyester is what was advertised? maybe thats vulnerable to the heat too?? I used t-shirt iron ons... I was told those were what I should be using? I bought the multi colored ones 50 for 30 bucks or something like that? Maybe I cheaped out and got the REALLY cheap ones?? are these the same ones you got or did you get the white ones with the colored strap? would love to know, ALSO let me know how your iron-on works, maybe you should try one and it was just me and not the bags lol.

Since the ACV conversation seems to be a pretty hot topic, do you think we could start another thread for it? It seems to be a populat topic, and if it had its own thread, maybe more brides would notice it, and it may be of help to them too, but If they are not looking for canadian OOT bags, they will not be able to see this very helpful informatoin! I know if I had booked with ACV and there was this great promotion going on about the extra baggage, I would be thrilled if someone shared with me . I am extremely jealous of your great upgrade!!! I get two bags, im not sure of how much weight each, but I could really use a third as well!!! Congrats. Again, sorry if this offends anyone, im not trying to be rude, just helpful to those other brides that may want to see it (and my inbox- hehe) Anyways , I just wanted to let everyone know, I bought those cheap bags from Oriental express, and the quality is decent, but beware of iron on tranfers, The bag melts and well, the iron on doesnt take too well. I wasnt putting my monogram, only a palmtree and "Trelawny, Jamaica". Needless to say, I scratched that idea. Has anyone else found affordable bags that can take these transfers?? I REALLY loved the look of the 1 of 5 bags I tried that turned out....

I have NO idea what to get my FI. He is a mans man, and loves to work on things around the house and toy around with his 4wheeler and snowmobiles... He doesnt want a watch as he can not wear it at work, and he wouldn't want the typical cuff links etc... I got him a wallet for xmas, im having SUCH a hard time!

I had the same thing! I thought I was all done with 40, and then I got 25 more people!!! I was happy and a little upset at the same time, Those people didnt RSVP, so I was a little thrown off because I had already made my budget... deposits have been all placed, and now we sit at 65 people, FI and I included..... and I STILL have people telling me they will be booking closer to the date!!! never expect anything to be set in stone, thats forsure.

Yeah they were, I didnt have any issues. I contacted them once because the arm length ended up being too short, and they sent me a legend of what can be let out and how many inches each seam can be taken in/let out! It was REALLY helpful, so we are taking it to a seamstress just to let the arm cuff out, and only by 1/2 an inch, but it was my own fault.... I didnt measure all the way down, I measured where I thought it should sit.. If you go on their site it explains everything SO clear, looking back, I feel pretty silly lol.

I dont think I am doing one, I thought about it and its going to be very heavy to bring there and back... Instead, we are lighting two floating lanterns at our reception and setting them in the air.

I too have a smilar setting, but my diamond is princess cut. I have had no issues, and wear mine everywhere, it has been 2 years and I havent taken it off once... I dont think you should be having this problem. Personally I would not want to change the ring that I was proposed to with, It would lose its meaning for me... I woudl complain until the problem was solved
