Congrats!!! I hear Playa Del Carmen is BEAUTIFUL! I am going to Jamaica in January to get married!

Do what YOU want, you gave them notice, and they gave you false hope... that's on them not you! I am having conflict with one person... I got lucky... I had the opposite happen to me... Many people said they wouldnt be able to go,which was fine by me... then all of a sudden I had 55 people pay their deposit.... NOT what I was expecting.. I have a 6 month old AND I graduate 4 months AFTER I get married from a University Degree in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.. Now I am scrambling to think of something that I can afford to give to 55 people!?!?! It has been a tad bit stressful, I already know I can not afford OOT bags, but I feel like this is something that I should be doing.....

I have over 55 guests, So I think these mugs are a GREAT idea, but I think instead of using them for OOT bags I am just going to purchase them for the wedding party

I gave her the boot... I dont need the extra stress... She mentioned to another friend that if she wasnt in the wedding party she wasn't going to go because she would feel left out.. but really If I thought she was good enough of a friend to ask her to stand up with me, you would think she would feel like she is good enough of a friend to attend like everyone else.

Well, I figured I might as well start a thread, seeing how there is barely anything else going on in here. We all know teething is probably one of the hardest things on our little ones.... So, maybe we could share some teething remedies??? I have a 6 month old and he has been teething for 3 months.. still has not broke through, it has been aweful watching him go through this!! I have tried a tylenol advil combination, Cold facecloths, freezies, teething rings, and alot more... The only thing I havent tried, because im a little nervous about it is Camilla... It has a herb Belladona in it, which is actually very dangerous... It can be lethal...

That is aweful! Did you ever see that money again? I got a $99 suit, but it was from www.studiosuits.com... they were definately alot more professional than this, and their checkout method was so secure, that our bank had us log into our account to verify that it was him. I am ordering 5 more suits from them this week! Hope this helps others.

I just received my order from Studio suits. The suit is VERY light, but in a good way. I love it, it gives us the formality that we were looking for, but it is also suitable for the temperature and weather. We had them lined with satin (at an additionall cost of 5.00). It was very affordable. We odered the classic comfort fit in the Tropical Beige. I live in Ontario, Canada, and with shipping, tax, the additional custom options, it came to 149. I thought this was an amazing price. Will post pictures soon! I am now ordering the groomsmen attire from here as well.

Hello! I am new to best destination weddings... My FI and I have been engaged since Nov. 11th 2009. We have decided on a destination wedding for several reasons... We both LOVE the idea of travelling, however I recently added a new member to or family, our son. (Born Dec. 17th, 2010). Needless to say, we have began our family now and finding time to travel seems near impossible... so what better way to get married than somewhere hot, sunny, and away from the snow. We have booked our wedding at the Breezes Trelawny in Jamaica, mainly because it was affordable for us and our friends (who are mostly students) and because it is a family resort. we have 55 guests who have put their deposits down, and that number has been on a slow incline... So far I have my bridesmaids dresses, My wedding dress, and the groom and groomsmen attire all sorted out... I have decided against a veil, and we are still debating bare foot or not.. (any advice is appreciated) I feel like there should be more to us planning this, but it has gone by pretty smooth... with the exception of one bridesmaid backing out, and now wanting back in (even though I have replaced her already).... There have been a few hiccups here and there, but now that its all booked and sorted out, it seems to be smooth sailing. If anyone has any advice or helpful hints on ANYTHING involving wedding planning, id be glad to hear it!

I feel you girls, I have had a rediculous situation as well... One of my best girlfriends was so excited for my wedding, she was in the bridal party and bought her dress and everything was a go. When it came time for her to pay her deposit she backed out... I had to find a replacement, which was no big deal because I have the best sister in law in the world and asked her. It has been 3 months since the switch, and when our dresses all arrived and she tried it on with us and noticed she would be missing out, she decided she wanted back in. Even though it would have been a headache for me to find another guy to step in and then arrange for gifts for her as well and set up the same things I had lined up for the other girls, I told her she could be back in it. I had originally paid for half her dress and was going to pay for alterations because she was a student and I wanted to help her out.... She decided to come right out and tell me she would only come if I paid for half of her dress and alterations, as it wasnt fair for me to do it for the other girls and not her too..... This ticked me off, I had already had to find a replacement for her, and pay for those items for this new bridesmaid.... and now she wanted back in, and expected me to pay for this for her? I explained to her why this requet was unreasonable and she simply said "its your wedding, you should expect to pay for things"..... I realize that, and I would have had no issues helping her out... if a) She made up her mind on if she was coming or not... or B)she didnt EXPECT me to do these things for her...

My FI will be wearing a Linen suit. We purchased them from www.studiosuits.com and they ship from india. We used the custom suits option and got his measurements taken... I was really skeptical to order online, but it all worked out and I am using them for the groomsmen attire too. The linen is VERY light and breathable and will be perfect for the hot jamaican weather.
