  1. So, here's the most up-to-date date list: DeniDen - April 20, 2012 alq212 - April 28, 2012 kellygrrrl - May 5, 2012 queenoftheu- May 19, 2012 Kate112 - June 5, 2012 rsosadpt - July 7, 2012 BrianneTTU - July 11, 2012 MrsLanningToBe - November, 10, 2012
  2. Sorry, totally missed that. I'm not doing anything for the tables for the cocktail hour. For me, the cost outweighs how much I really want something. I'm doing centerpieces from Marvin for the reception, plus luminarias.

I probably would have nominated my mom or MOH to lead them to the lobby bar instead. We have around 50 people (including the 2 of us), we are doing a cocktail hour. My thoughts were the same as Kelly's - don't want to "lose people" while we are taking pictures, etc. I like the cohesiveness of doing the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception.
  4. Thank you! I love both of those songs for your wedding!!!
  5. That's what I'm walking down the aisle to. I think it's perfect for having my Dad walk me to my future Husband. <3 That's the version I want the DJ to use for our dance.
  6. In the very beginning of the process, we were sent a contract to sign in reference to our wedding package. At one point, we wanted to switch wedding packages and had to sign a new contract. In fact, my WC wouldn't send me any planning stuff until I signed the contract.
  7. Yay for your first fitting! Here are our songs: Wedding Day Music Ceremony Prelude – "Have you ever really loved a woman" - Bryan Adams Wedding Party Processional - "All You Need is Love†– The Beatles Bridal Processional - "God Only Knows" - The Beach Boys Wedding Precessional - "L O V E" - Michael Buble First Dance - "Back at One" - Brian McKnight Father/Daughter Dance - "Landslide" - Fleetwood Mac Mother/Son Dance - Cake Cutting - "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)" – Michael Buble Last Dance - "Save the Last Dance for Me" - Michael Buble For our cocktail hour, I'm making an iPod playlist of all of the wedding songs of all the couples that are there.
  8. Thanks! I got most of my ideas from other brides on here! I did my Menu Cards (I think I posted them a few back) and they turned out so nice! I just use a corner cropper to make the edges of everything rounded.
  9. I was having the same thought process - only I always planned on doing shot glasses for favors but wondered if I should put them in the bags or have them out at the reception. I ultimately decided to put them out for the reception because we are giving our OOT bags out before we go to Mexico. However, I asked my MOH and she said she thinks most people would consider the OOT bags a favor.
  10. She ordered hers from DiscountMugs.com but I ordered mine on eBay from a seller called Factory_21. She has been great to work with - she was able to put one of our monograms on our shot glasses! http://www.ebay.com/itm/310209039752?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Ok, ladies, tomorrow is 10 weeks until my wedding! 11. Yes, I used business cards. They came out super cute, and are a little bit smaller than the key card holder. I also used business cards for luggage tags, and for tags for my travel mugs.
  12. I actually purchased that logo and another one from ayleebits.com, I think it was 2 for $10 or something, best money spent - has been so easy to use them on EVERYTHING for the wedding!
  13. Here is it: http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/ns/studio3.aspx?pf_id=A41&combo=119226.142.1.155454%7c155454%7c137%7c0&uei=207535&icparts=yes&ag=true&combo_id=215483&ssc=1&filter=9%3a10013%7c%7c1%2c3%3a10088%7c%7c1&xnav=previews&xnid=button&rd=3&referer=http%3a%2f%2fwww.vistaprint.com%2fgallery%2fMFIAAAABAAMAAAA%3d%2ffolded-note-cards%2fyellow.aspx%3ffilter%3d9%3a10013%7c%7c1%26xnav%3dsearch I did a search for "yellow" in the folded thank you card section.
  14. Let me know if either of these links work: http://www.vistaprint.com/lp.aspx?alt_doc_id=CMP8F-41A68-0K6&width=250&shopper_id=HEDPTQS3RTHXJSWDP12RENNI5OPI21WS http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/ns/consumer/splash/notecardfolded.aspx?pfid=236
  15. DF & my dad's suits both came in, it took literally 3 days from when they shipped. DF tried his on real quick and it fits great, the sleeves are just a tiny bit too long - take note of how we did measurements! The quality is nice and I love both the Tropical English Beige and the Tropical Rome Beige colors.
  16. Just wanted to post in case this will help other brides. I wanted to do some placecards from Etsy with votive candle holders (www.etsy.com/listing/66025695/escort-and-place-cards-votive) but dreaded the idea of bringin 50 glass votive holders to Mexico. Did a little research and found plastic votive holders! http://candlefactoryproducts.com/disposablevotives.htm http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120852972342&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:US:1123
  17. Does anyone have pictures of corsages they got from Marvin? How about hair flowers?
  18. So, DF's and my dad's suit have both shipped. FFIL & BM got their suits last week. I wanted to start this post so you can see costs, etc. and shipping times from order. Once we get DF's & my dad's suits, I'll post pics of them in them, and then again after the wedding. Suits Ordered - 01/12/12 (I emailed back & forth with them for a couple of days to tweak sizing, etc.) Best Man Tropical English Beige/Lined Preset Suit - we ordered his unhemmed Shipped - 01/20/12 Received - 01/27/12 Cost - $159.99 ($139.99 for suit, $20 for shipping, his cost a little extra because he needed a larger size jacket & waist for pants) Father of Groom Tropical Rome Beige/Classic Comfort/Lined Custom Suit Shipped - 01/21/12 Received - 01/27/12 Cost - $139.99 ($119.99 for suit, $20 for shipping) Groom Tropical English Beige/Classic Comfort/Lined Custom Suit Shipped - 01/31/12 Received - waiting to arrive Cost - $138.99 ($119.99 for suit, $19 for shipping) Father of Bride Tropical Rome Beige/Classic Comfort/Lined Custom Suit Shipped - 01/31/12 Received - waiting to arrive Cost - $148.99 ($129.99 for suit, $19 for shipping, his cost a little more because of his waist size) Measurements: For all of our measurements, I rounded up to the next largest number (if it was a half). I also modified some of our measurements based on things I had read in this thread. Waist - we added 2 inches Thigh - we added 1 inch Outer length - we added 1 inch Trouser leg bottom - Studio Suits emailed me and said they felt the trouser leg bottom should 20, as linen pants are worn wider at the leg bottom (we had put down 18) Shoulder - they felt our shoulder measurements were too small, so I had them add 2 inches Sleeves - they felt FFIL's sleeves were too long, but he is really tall, so I left as-is
  19. Hi Ladies! We leave for Mexico 11 weeks from today! Here's my To Do List:
  20. Great job! Love it! Are you able to post your little baggie template without everything grouped and locked? I wanted to alter the images and change the font color. Thanks! Denielle
  21. Lanyards: http://lanyards.idcardgroup.com/productdetails.aspx?item=Flat Woven Nylon Luggage Tags: http://tags.idcardgroup.com/productdetails.aspx?item=1840-620 Ziplock badge holder: http://holders.idcardgroup.com/productdetails.aspx?item=1815-1110 Luggage tag strap: http://tags.idcardgroup.com/productdetails.aspx?item=2410-20 These are the travel mugs I ordered: http://www.dollartree.com/catalog/search.cmd?form_state=searchForm&keyword=travel%20mug I originally wanted to do the personalized travel mugs, but to me, it wasn't worth it for the price. So, instead, I'm going to attach them to the travel mugs: I plan on giving our bags out about a month before our trip, when we also distribute the travel documents.
  22. Here's how I did them. The smallest business card order through Vistaprint is 250, so I figured I'll be giving people plenty of extras for their future travels, lol.
