I'm also an April 2012 Royal PDC bride. You have to meet Marvin in front of the hotel (or have someone in your party do so) and have someone in your group set up the flowers to avoid the vendor fee.

Ok Royal PDC brides - what's everyone been up to in the wedding planning department? I ordered my dress a week ago (Allure 8712), and we are finishing up our invitations. We plan on sending out our invites the first week of September with a November 1st RSVP deadline for our April wedding. (Everyone has to be paid in full by February 17th). I've been on Basecamp with Ana and gotten alot of our details hammered out - requested Ivan from Doremixx! Photographer is booked (Juan Navarro), in the process of booking our videographer (Mike from Cancun Wedding Video), and have my bouquet and centerpieces picked out with Marvin. We also booked our honeymoon at Couples Tower Isle in Jamaica. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer!

Thank you for your kind words. I bought my dress yesterday and as I was trying dresses, I was looking at my body and going "hmmm, definitely seeing a positive difference!"

I actually stayed the same weight these past 2 weeks. I have been super discouraged by this, especially since I have been working out with a trainer once a week and working out on my own 2 or more times a week.

I love love LOVE Michael Buble, but not sure Everything is a good first dance song... it's one of those songs where it's too fast to slow dance, but too slow to fast dance - if you know what I mean, lol. Have you ever heard "The Best of Me" by Michael Buble? It's a close 2nd for our song choice.

Here is my current timeline, looking for opinions! 1. 4pm - Ceremony - 30mins. 2. 4:30pm - Cocktail reception - should we do the Champagne Toast here? 3. 5:30pm - Reception Start Bridal Party entrance, then Bride & Groom Couple's first Dance Father and Daughter Dance Mother and Son Dance Cake cutting - want to do this early, so as to not interrupt the party later & before everyone gets too tipsy! Dinner Blessing Dinner reception - First course, then BM & MOH speeches, While serving dessert - Bride & Groom Thank you Speech (serve the dessert included in package along with wedding cake) Dance time We aren't doing the garter/bouquet thing.

I had my weekly weigh-in this week and... ... I didn't gain or lose a single ounce, lol. I started with a trainer at the gym this week, and he's been super kicking my butt! I worked out HARD 3 times this week. My friends say that when you first start working out hard and your muscles are sore, the muscles are retaining water, which is why I haven't lost any weight this week. I do FEEL alot better (minus the sore muscles) and do feel like I look better... so that's a plus!

Janna- Thanks, that really helps. I was thinking of doing the cake cutting towards the beginning so that maybe I can convince my WC to let us have Tres Leches.

Have you ever heard "Making Memories of Us" by Keith Urban? I know you don't like country, but it doesn't sound super country to me, and the lyrics are nice (my dad loves the song).
