  1. I have been emailing wtih Marvin about my April 2012 wedding... my colors are yellow and blue. Here are some pictures he sent me for inspiration.
  2. I'm getting married in Playa del Carmen, but I started with my travel agent... she researched things for me and is handling everything. If you want, I can provide her information.
  3. Haha, do not even get me started! Her recipes are the best! She sent one out today for grilled pineapple which my fiancee and I have been grilling every weekend! LOL. And we are almost wedding day buddies! I'm April 20th at The Royal Playa del Carmen!
  4. Hmmm, thanks for the info - may have to look into it!

We didn't need it, but it made us feel better to have it. Congrats Jenn! Hope your day is perfect! And what a great idea about those signs!
  6. I am having serious issues using this voucher. I contacted Customer Service, they applied the voucher (after several tries) but then it removed all of my discounted pricing for stuff. Did you have these issues? Thanks!
  7. So ladies, what are some of your "go-to" Weight Watcher meals? I've been getting a lot of good ideas and recipes from www.skinnytaste.com Some of my favorites are: Chicken Burgers (4 points), a scoop of pasta sauce (1 point), a slice of italian mix cheese (1 point) and a whole wheat/light bun (1 point) = 7 point chicken parm sandwich Mahi Mahi Burgers (4 points), a scoop of peach/mango salsa (1 point) and a bun (1 point) = 6 point mahi mahi burger Sweet potato (5 points), drizzle of olive oil (1 point), pinch of nutmeg/cinnamon/salt = 6 point sweet potato fries
  8. Thanks for posting the salad article! I bought this bag of frozen grilled chicken breast strips (you just heat them up in the oven for 10 minutes) and have been eating them over romaine lettuce, cut up carrots and this DELICIOUS strawberry vinegarette (that is only 1 WW point per tablespoon) the past few days for lunch. Also - what's the 30 Day Shred? Never heard of it prior to this thread.
  9. I love using WW online to track my food and the forums. Summer is awesome because there are so many low point options to grill! We bought some Mahi Mahi burgers from BJs (4 points), grilled them and topped them with Peach Mango Salsa, and used 1point buns. Sooo yummy. A friend of mine who is also doing WW found a great site: http://www.skinnytaste.com/ that has awesome recipes and she tells you the points plus values. I used a recipe of hers the other day - grilled chicken burgers with a scoop of marinara sauce and melted cheese on top, yummy "chicken parm" burgers.
  10. I'm getting married on April 20th, 2012 at the Royal Playa del Carmen, and our reception is on the beach - never heard about the sea turtle thing.
  11. Hi ladies! My name is Denielle and I'm an April 2012 bride. I joined Weight Watchers (for the 3rd time) in late May. I'm down 8lbs or so so far. I love Weight Watchers and have lost tons of weight each time I've joined. My problem has always been long-term motivation. But I think that with my wedding next year (and wanting to look super hot on my wedding day!) and then trying for a baby on the horizon, I'll have more than enough motivation to stick with it!
  12. Hi ladies! I'm Denielle and we are getting married on 04/20/12 at the Royal Playa del Carmen! Sent out our magnet Save the Dates in May, have a few people booked, and our website is up and running. I plan on making passport invitiations and sending them out in September.
  13. Hi ladies! Just found this thread by accident and want to join! My name is Denielle and I'm a April 2012 Bride. I joined Weight Watchers (for the 3rd time) in late May. I've lost about 8 lbs so far! I'm not sure exactly how much weight I want to lose, but I know that I want to feel super hot on my wedding day! I think I have about 30 lbs for me to get where I was at my lowest. Moreso, I want to be toned. I've been doing well with WW, but need to focus more on working out. Baby steps, I guess. Hope everything is doing well!!! Denielle

I realized - why am I having us decorate tables? We should be getting ready, taking pics and having fun. Not working!!! Did you have to pay the full $300 or $350 (I can't remember what it is right now) vendor fee for him to do the setup?

  16. Couple of questions regarding decorating the oceanfront gazebo... Does anyone know the pricing for the different decorating options like the medallions on the posts, etc? Did anyone have Marvin do things for these? Thanks! Denielle
  17. Hi ladies! After reading some messages on here, I decided to make an Excel Spreadsheet to really figure out which wedding package would be the best for us. We originally booked the Luxury package but have since changed to Classic. Since we are about 11 months away, my guest numbers are guesses, but it does help put the numbers in perspective, money-wise. Attached please find the spreadsheet I used. A couple of notes: this is based upon 2012 prices. If you are a 2011 bride, you will need to change the package prices where they are highlighted in grey. This includes the extras I specifically wanted, like the DJ and light-up dance floor - if you do not want these things, delete them or add the ones you do want and their price. In calculating the packages, I didn't include things like "rose petals on the bed", etc. because they couldn't really be calculated financially. I only included package items that could be calculated financially and that we would actually use. You can change these for yourself, as well. It's not perfect, or close to it, but could be a good starting point for some people. Denielle RPDC Pkg Comparisons.xls

  19. So, I'm back from an 11-day Disney vacation and ready to continue planning for our April 2012 wedding! I finished our website (www.denielleandryan.com) for the time being and am sending out our save the dates this week! So excited to see that so many brides were happy with their choice of the Royal!
  20. Thank you everyone for your replies! We officially booked our wedding, so it's time to start working on these ideas!
  21. Morning ladies! I started back in the 700's and have read up until now because... WE ARE OFFICIALLY BOOKED for April 20th, 2012 at 4pm at the Oceanfront Gazebo. We are just waiting to sign contracts to block rooms for our guests and then I'll be sending out STDs. So excited! Denielle
  22. I'd be interested in a South Jersey get together too!
  23. Perfect, thanks! I'm actually a supporter, so I can see templates... just never knew how people made the perforation. Thanks again!
