Lisa, I just spoke to them and they said they will ship it by the end of the week, or Monday at the latest. I hope it fits perfectly, because I won't have time for alterations. On another note, the last dress I ordered from Monica bridal was shipped by courier and I got a bill for customs charges. So you might want to request that they send via EMS.

I just listed everyone under bridal party. We have 2 BM, 3 GM and a ring bearer. I even considered listing my honourable BM that won't be able to attend due to her pregnancy. Do whatever makes you happy.

Lisa, is there anyway you can go to a seamstress for measurements? I know it made a huge difference between my two dresses. If you decide to do the BD shoot, my photographer only took about a week to get my shots touched up. I decided against getting gifts for the parents. We will just do the photo books once we get our pictures back. It was the same situation for my parents, they just buy what they want so I had no ideas, and his parents don't need anything but cash. Fmichelle, sadly we don't have any of those stores up North. The closest we have is Winners which is owned by Marshalls. Congrats on getting a better date for your BD shoot. You'll be feeling even more gorgeous after a trip to the salon.

Michelle, yes they said they could deliver by March 20. Serena is going to check if it can be received by March 25. I will give them until tomorrow to resolve. I prefer this dress to the one I already have, so I really hope they can fulfill the order.

Palace Resorts doesn't release their promotions until the fall of the previous year. When we booked directly through our membership we were told that the promotion might change. It's not worth the stress to wait, so we reserved. Most of us brides will tell you that a lot of guests don't even book until closer to the wedding date. Yes, it is easier to have a TA but there's no way they can guarantee the promotion. Think about it.... if you get to Moon Palace and they tell you the promotion has changed, who is going to pay for the $1500? As long as you can get a general idea of the room rates that's all that should matter. Palace Resorts always has some sort of great promotion. When we booked, we were only getting $1500 now they have increased it to to $2000 based on the length of our stay.

I'm slightly sad. I did not "love" my first dress from Monica Bridal (even before I ordered it) I just didn't want to be stuck without a dress. So in February I decided to look for something else that I liked more. I sent an email to Babyonline and asked if they could make me a dress that I would receive before March 20. I got the shipping notice last night, but they told me this morning that it won't be ready for another 10 days. If I can't have the dress by the 25th I need to cancel the order. Has anyone cancelled before?

Laura, yes the sale doesn't start until the end of the week. Maybe you can check stock again and reorder? Or go in store for a price adjustment. Not sure if they will do that for a swimsuit though. The tunic is very cute, and you probably will wear more than one cover up. My FI's ring was just under $1K but I figured that I should have spent at least that much since my wedding band was $2K.. My feeling is that I would never want to upgrade either of our rings so we might as well spend the money on something we will both wear and love forever. It would have been great if we could do it for less though.

Sorry for the multiple posts, but one more comment. Greysgirl - My FI got a ring with a single diamond. The only other one he originally liked had nine diamonds, but we got a great deal on this one and it's white gold. I like that it has just a little sparkle but is still masculine.

Erin, where did he propose? We live pretty much halfway between Niagara and Mississauga. My FI was going to propose in Niagara gorge as the back up plan. Every time we go over the border I beg to go to Target just to look around!

Laura, did you check La Vie en Rose? I was there on the weekend and they have turquoise. Otherwise, maybe you can enlist some of Cdn girls to check our local Old Navy stores for the size you need? Shipping to Canada is even worse when you consider that there's usually a separate bill for customs too.

Aww Tris that's so cute. I was giddy the day that got the spa confirmations for me and "my husband." I had been calling him that after we bought our house but before we were engaged because it was just easier explaining to people but it's so exciting to be a real Mrs. soon.

Does anyone have menu suggestions for the private buffet? We are considering the Greek buffet but aren't sure if it's a good choice.
