  1. I got the neckline on the second one adjusted so I am wearing it. It just makes me happier than the first one. It suck that the train can't be bustled, but who cares! Now my issue is the veil. I got one that matches my first dress but not the second so I made another one, but it is really plain. Which I guess is okay since my dress has so much detail. I can't believe so many married ladies are back already and we are just finally leaving. I may go through withdrawal without being on here for 10 days in a row!
  2. It was a gorgeous bouquet. I hope your amazing wedding continues through your AHR, which I know will be just as beautiful!
  3. You look gorgeous Brandy! I must say it looks like you got quite a workout lifting that bouquet. We have 6 people leaving from our house, so I think FI ordered the stretch H2.
  4. Finally, it's my last day of work. The limo picks us up at 6 tomorrow morning to head for the airport. I feel like I still have so much left to do. We did get most stuff packed last night, and I think we can fit everything in 4 bags! (Plus carry on)
  5. Looking Beautiful Mrs. Teira! Welcome Back. I love how your hair turned out.
  6. Thanks Kelly! Do you know if we all have to sign up for an account to post the star's location? It will be cool to see his tracks.
  7. I guess I won this competition by a landslide, I went to 10 stores, in 4 cities and 2 different provinces. I tried on at least 100 dresses. I never saw one that I liked for me. I also browsed through hundreds online, and ended up purchasing 2 ceremony gowns and 1 short reception dress. The dress that I finally ended up with is actually a combination off two dresses that I had custom made.
  8. Thanks so much ladies! I am having a seamstress adjust the neckline to be more sweetheart and I pick it up tonight. I will try it on with my veil to see. misskim, My dress had tiers of lace and it turned out well. I sent them some close up pictures of the skirt that I found online. I would probably be a little worried about the cup size, just because most Asian women are built very petite. Just allow for a lot of extra time in case there is any alterations needed.
  9. Thanks everyone. The most amazing thing about FI's proposal was that since it was just us and the pilot in the basket, FI actually got down on one knee in the basket. For the rest of the trip I kept my hand in a fist because I was so scared the ring would slide off my finger and be completely lost! I still have more photos to upload before we leave in a couple of days, but of course I forgot my camera cord. krsmith - My mom bought it at the end of last summer from Nordstroms.
  10. Laura beautiful picture and love the smiling kiss! Welcome Back!
  11. Erin, we leave early Saturday morning. Sadly I still have a few more things to finish at work before I leave. And only two days left to finish it all. Aside from that, I still have a few wedding things to do. Try not to stress. I know it's hard but I think last week I was much worse than this week and we did manage to get almost everything done so that we can actually have the time to be excited!
  12. I just printed ours on premium paper and then attached them to the bags with spray adhesive, but here's the template. I had two sizes of bags, sandwich bags for a few couples and smaller ones for individuals. Survival Tags.pub Survival Tags2.pub
  13. Lesee, Have a safe trip and a wonderful wedding day! Glad to hear everything arrived just in time. I took a sick day today since I was up most of the night coughing. Hopefully I feel better. We are going out with friends for our going away dinner tonight and I still have a few things to finish up. I did manage to get FI to put aside all the clothes that he plans on bringing.
  14. Deanna, Sorry to hear that you are getting that response. My parents also wanted the big wedding, so we said we would have a reception a few months after. They were then surprised when we said we were looking at reception halls. Apparently, they thought we were having it at their house? Sometimes, families don't understand the whole DW process. We didn't get back RSVPs from 80% of the people! I really hope you end up with a celebration that you and your husband enjoy.
  15. Amara - maybe you could post your color scheme. It might help you coordinate with someone else.
  16. I think you mean DHGate, not GHGate. They are not a dress maker, they are like eBay and just direct you to the different sellers. I got two dresses from Monica Bridal and one dress from Babyonline. I prefer the fabric and quality of the Babyonline dress, the beading on the Monica Bridal dress was superior, and I was on pins and needles waiting an extra three weeks for the Babyonline dress to arrive. So it really all depends on the style of dress.
  17. Once you sign up for an account they start sending promotional emails. Just keep waiting until you get a good one with decent shipping and a bunch of free stuff. Once in a while you'll get free shipping if you spend over a certain amount. Or just google free "whatever item" vistaprint.
  18. Steph they look great. Yeah the petal fans are a headache. I guess that's why you can buy perforated ones at Michaels.
  19. Great job Katelynn! Thanks for posting all your templates. I love your colours and I hope your bouquets turn out amazing!
  20. Pre-travel Brochures: For a few people, this will be their first vacation. So to help things go smoothly, I sent out pre-travel brochures. I designed them in MS Publisher and then printed them through vistaprint. I probably should have sent them sooner, but I'm a procrastinator. If anyone wants the template, please ask.
  21. Bridal Party Accessories: I ordered custom made bracelets from my neighbor that makes jewelry. She sent me pictures of a few options and then made bracelets and earrings based on what I liked. I'm really happy about how they turned out and the colors are a perfect match. She also surprised me with rings. Over the weekend, we finally managed to find ties for FI and GM. FI is wearing a black suit with white shirt, GM are wearing black pants with a white shirt. FI's tie is the one in the middle. The jewelery is my gift to the BM and FI purchased all the attire for his GM as their gifts.
  22. Our Ceremony Programs I went back and forth between what style of program and whether or not to purchase separate fans. Eventually, I decided to combine them into one project. I started with petal fans, but I couldn’t find grommets thick enough for the amount of pages I wanted to include, so I quickly switched over to a flat program fan. Here’s the big hint for making this go some much easier, I had purchased a can of spray adhesive for a different project and we used that to attach the pages. What a sanity saver, too bad we had already sent the neighbors out to get us a glue stick.
  23. As promised, here is even more pictures: Welcome Bags: I purchased several orange tote bags from Michaels just after Halloween to be used for our OOT bags. I printed our logo onto iron-on paper and am really pleased with the results. Here's a picture of everything that we have put in the bags; first aid kit, tums, pepto bismol tablets, lip balm, shout wipes, aloe, emergen-C, lens cleaning wipes, aloe, mints, gum, flossers, nail files, hand sanitizer, flip flop playing cards, key card holder, photo share magnet, welcome note and photo share card. I am so thankful that I was able to purchase the flip flop cards and most of the first aid kits from another BDW bride that actually lived close by. Here's a picture of some of the bags laid out for packing. After I packaged somethings in ziploc bags, I made paper tags and attached them with my new life saver, spray adhesive. Welcome note and Photo share card
  24. Tris I hope he gets all packed up soon. And that your move goes smoothly this weekend!
