I think it is a marvelous idea to wear your dress and have the wedding party do the same! Forthose unable to attend your DW, i"m sure they will love to see you in your dress in oerson ---not via pictures! Bottom line ----your day, do what you want!

I booked my wedding in October 2011 with AC Vacations. Their policy is once you have ten bodies confirmed - they upgrade you to 2 first class seats. If you hit 20 bodies booked - they give you 4 first class seats. We are very fortunate that we have 27 bodies confirmed...so first class here we come!

I've had another quick look but can't find the link/info that tells you that you can just pay a fee in order to access all the attachments, etc. My wedding is in 6 months I need to get going on my program, tags, etc...and would like to have a look at a few of the attachments on here. Fun....where are you located? ...in hind site, I should have gone with someone with those credentials...as my travel agent has been a bit of a challenge...albeit, it is his first group wedding...he just doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy! Welcome Dramatic Annie; My hubby to be and our son love cruising...we have been on several Caribbean cruises..and I guarantee you will love it. We thought about that for our wedding as well but unfortunately as we are in Calgary and at least half of our guests are in western Canada....it was too expensive to add airfare on to the cost of the cruise...so we chose and all-inclusive in DR. We are thrilled to bits with our choice and have 30 people joining us. Good luck in the planning and preparations....

My hubby to be is from Grand Falls/Windsor although we have been in Calgary for 20 years. We are getting married in Oct. 2011 in DR at the Dreams Palm Beach resort. We booked a year in advance and were able to get good deals...although in order to get the good deal everyone had to pay in full by Apr 1, 2011 (6 months in advance). Our guests from Nfld fly out of Mtl. We have 30 in our group with a handful of newfies....what fun we'll have! Congrats and welcome...you will love this site!

Checked in two Walmarts here in Calgary...they don't carry the id name badge/holder that ziploc closes. Neither does Office Depot....still searching though........

I don't have any small kids only teens....and my hope is that we ALL end up in the pool...clothes and all...LOL

Hey kim0806 If you are in Canada I have a guy who can direct you to some awesome bags for around $3 or so...top quality stuff...he has several options I believe.

The prices vary...I have people flying out of Mtl, TO, Calgary and Vancouver and each is about $100 difference in price. Van is the most expensive and Mtl. the least...Mtl came in at about $1,085 plus tax & insurance (totally just over $1,400 pp). Re: packages (Silver, gold). If you purchase a package it is a set menu where you select one main entree and it is a plated dinner. From there you can upgrade to the buffet which offers many more selections and is an additional cost. Or if you pass on the packages, you can simply choose the buffet (different types/levels) from the start and pay per person. Hope that clears it up for you.
