  1. Congratulations! We don't really see a lot of Sun Palace brides out there but everything looks so gorgeous!
  2. Since we are doing OOT bags, I will just be using starfish as favors
  3. Your bags look awesome! I'm sure your guests appreciate every effort you put into it..

I'm booked at the Bugambilias terrace but am worried that it will be too big for my group of 30. I really wanted the same rooftop terrace that vgirl had, but it looks like someone beat me to the punch! It takes a while for WCs to get back. Give them about 48-72 hours to get back to you. My WC is Claudia Sanchez and although she is a little slow to respond, she is extremely helpful. We are also booked at the Bugambilias Gazebo for the ceremony and the Bugambilias Terrace for the reception. I originally wanted the Tucan Gazebo and the Terrace Venado but she tells me those venues are not available so I am extremely disappointed...
  6. Hello everyone! My WC at Moon Palace has been very helpful to me all this time. I want to show my appreciation by giving her a small token. Any ideas on what to give her?
  7. My WC offered me several different options for cake flavors. I went with chocolate for the bottom tier (cannot mess around with a classic) and then tres leches for the second tier. I really wanted a tall cake but I was only having 35 guests and I didn't want to waste any extra food so I asked them to add a third layer just with styrofoam decorated with icing.
  8. a lot of brides on this site swear by flyboy naturals....
  9. We will be doing a bubble release. They are cheap, fun and practical...
  10. I will be using these centerpieces. You just need some pillar candles and a bunch of shells to surround it with and you should be all set!

  12. That is one of my concerns too. I know that with MP, you can request them to bring out the cake at the reception instead of having it wait outside for awhile. Maybe we can ask them to do the icing in fondant...

I have several guests coming from Nevada (I'm sure they probably do not mind the weather) and several coming from New Jersey but most of us are from Chicago. Last time I went to Cancun was in October and I thought the weather was too cold. Heat we don't mind as much as long as it's not too humid..

  15. I heard it's really really HOT around July. Are you guys doing outdoor ceremonies and receptions?
  16. Whoaa! that's a really cool idea. Now you got me thinking about using them for our reception...
  17. Planning is done, done, done! Just waiting for the dress to be shipped in (not till June), bridesmaids to start picking their dresses (done by next week), order my BM bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres, finish putting together my OOT bags and favors.

Flip-flop luggage tags are available at myweddingfavors.com They are $2.30 each if you order 24-47 pieces.
  19. I asked etsy seller AprilHilerDesigns to make a starfish kissing ball/pomander for me. Since I will be hand carrying it, I asked her to use artificial moss and artificial starfish. For the ring bearer, I will putting the rings inside a large shell.
  20. I had Etsy seller PaintingsbyShanon do my wedding invitations. I also had her do my wedding programs to match my invitations for a cohesive look.
