I spoke to Michael through email and told him also that I wasn't comfortable with carrying almost $2000 in cash. I've got an email from him that says he'd take a travelers check. My recommendation would be to send him an email and ask him if he'll take travelers check, money order, bank check, etc. so at least you'll have his response in writing. Take it with you (the email chain) along with the form of payment and you should be good to go. Good luck!

OMG! I almost forgot to share my awesome news with you beautiful ladies....... Me and my FI went and bought our wedding bands on Saturday. It's really like the gift and the curse because it was so fun and exciting and we both LOVE our bands BUT now I have to wait 4 months before I can actually wear it! Anyone else making stride? Busy bees I'm sure we are. Cristine, you've only got another month. YAH! and then Toya will be off before she knows it and then Nat and then Misty and then Me and then..........and so on and so on.....summer weddings, HERE WE COME! lol

Jen, your wedding sounds magical. Thanks for posting such a detailed review. I had a question about photography. I'm getting married at Dreams Punta Cana and also booked the Ultimate wedding package and an out of resort photographer. Can they both not photograph at the same time? Did the resort photog give you a hard time? I still want to use him as it is already included in the package I purchased, I'm just wondering how it's all going to work. I really think it depends where you get your dress from. I ordered mine 8 months prior to my wedding. They told me it would take 4-5 months to come in but it got here in less than 2. It's never too early though. Better safe than sorry you know. Good luck!
