OH MAN! I'm speechless. I don't understand what people don't understand about "IT"S A WEDDING" It's not like a backyard BBQ. You need to pay per plate and table linens and favors. ETC. The only thing that I can recommend is maybe to send out some sort of email blast that politely asks everyone for an "exact" RSVP total and stress to them the importance of an "intimate affair with your CLOSEST friends and family" Maybe they'll get the hint that way. I'm sorry that this is added stress for you. I would feel the same way. I hope everything works out in the end! Keep us updated.

What girl doesn't LOVE a sale? I think you got caught in the moment of buying something that was cute and on sale. But you really should LOVE your dress! I'd say, sell the one you have and go buy the one you really fell in love with. It's the most important day of your life and you should have no regrets when it comes to the dress. GO OUT THERE AND BUY THE DRESS OF YOUR DREAMS! Good luck with everything.

I would say do your research on both sides (which it seems you are already doing) That way, it'll be easier making an informed decision. $4300+travel seems really pricey but maybe that's just me! What I really wanted to say is that I TOTALLY LOVE YOU MONOGRAM. OMG, I think it's the cutest one I've ever seen and very fitting to your wedding. Good luck making a decision.

Not really much more to say, but I really do think she looks like a MONSTER! Instead of her fixing herself on the outside, she should have seeked some mental help and actually resolved her inner demons before doing that to her face and body. My heart kinda goes out to her!

Oh Margie, That is very disheartening. I would feel the exact same way. You have every right to be disappointed in the fact that they "couldn't afford" to go. I think the only way you'll ever start to make peace with the whole situation and get over it, is to just flat out sit down and have a conversation with them. Maybe they didn't feel like their attendance was a big deal. It may just be a whole misunderstanding but you'll never know until you lay it all out there and have a talk with them. Good luck with whatever you decide. At the end of the day, as long as you have a loving husband, that's really all you need.

My colors are turquoise and fuschia too! I absolutely love orchids. I think they are beautiful, exotic, and tropical. My bouquet is fuschia and white orchids. Hope this helps. Good luck deciding.

I too am frustrated about this. Above all because I wanted everyone traveling such far distances to be able to hang out on the beach and do things together. Now, it looks like I will only be seeing about 10 of my guest at the wedding only. I made it very clear to everyone though, that if they WEREN'T staying at the resort, that THEY themselves would have to pay the $80 wedding pass. I figured this was ok since most of them were getting a cheaper rate at other hotels and even with the pass that they'd need to pay for person, it still ended up saving them money. My family understood this and they have all decided to pay the $80 pass themselves. Don't know if it's the "right" thing to do but I can't see myself spending $800 of wedding passes when I gave everyone enough time to book early and get a great deal! Frustrating though that we can't spend more time together
