    Just wanted to say that you girls have really given me so many ideas and anwers to many questions without even needing to post the questions LOL. I'm still 7 months away so I know there will be more issues to come but it's been much easier to plan with a forum like this with so many woman who are will to help and share their ideas!! Thanks sooo much! And congrats to all of the May brides!!

    I'm 100% wearing my dress again! I agree people who didn't make it to the DW would love to see you, but most importantly I want to wear it. From a little girl I always looked at wedding dress dreaming of the day I would wear mine. Then shopping for it with my fam was so much fun! Thats why I'm not doing the TTD in my "real" wedding dress, I don't want to risk ruining it. Who knows maybe after the wedding my husband (sooo weird to say he'll be my husband ) ) will come home to me sitting on the couch in my wedding dress LOL

    Hi Shannon - I'm also trying to stick to a small budget. Don't worry you can still have your dream wedding no matter what the budget is. There is a ton of things you can do on your own. This forum is great, you'll get a ton of ideas!! Good Luck!

    I was emailing with Mayan Hospitality and I believe they quoted me $1,200, but when I added the $350 vendor fee I told them that right now my budget didn't allow for it and I would get back to them closer to the date. Since then they email me every couple of weeks telling me that they are trying to get a meeting with the Royal to see if they can negotiate a lower vendor fee and would let me know once it happens.

    I live in queens getting married on Nov 27th with a AHR on 1/9/10 but don't have a place yet either! We have the date bc we are doing the church wedding when we get back but still need the reception. When I get some pricing I'll def post!
