MysTea, I think I may have some before and after pics of my own hair when I did my BKT. Though in the pics you won't probably see much difference cause my hair is relaxed, its really when I would wet my hair you would see a major difference. If I find them I will post them.

I think if you can contact the seller and express to her how you feel and see if she can send you some replacement hibiscus' you're not being a bridezilla at all there is a noticeable difference. If there isn't enough time perhaps you can head to a local craft store and like one of the ladies said sneak in some more vibrant flowers. I don't suggest painting it. Honeymoon Island is along the Gulf Coast and it does tend to be a bit chilly in January. It really all kind of depends on what kind of winter season we have. This past winter was horrible as I am sure you heard much of central and north florida saw flurries of snow and temperatures were in the low 40s and even 30s in the day time and with the windchill. It would be hard to predict from now, but my suggestion would be to have a back up venue (in doors). I can tell you a friend of mine got married out doors this February and no one was happy standing out in the cold with sweaters and throws on. Or perhaps you can ask for pits and gas heating lamps to be set up (which is what she eventually had to do at the last minute). It can be fun if you have fire pits and gas lamps in case it does get cold but it'll also add a sort of unique beach difference to the whole thing. What time of day were you having your wedding?

In my case everyone will know them both. Because we have been friends for such a long time even my future-in-laws know them from us having them over everytime they visit. Which is another reason I think it will be hard for her to keep it secret. Except for her parents everyone at our wedding will be the same people that ordinarily they would be calling to tell about their proposal/engagement and the same people that will be attending their wedding....which he explained is also another reason why he wants to do it cause perhaps they can announce it Sunday before everyone leaves.....I guess we'll see how it turns out. I'm glad I am not the only person dealing with something like this.

This same thing is happening to me. Well a little different. Its my friend who is going to be proposing to his gf at our wedding. He and I have been friends for over 16years so I was happy when he asked me to help him go ring shopping (he has been with his gf for 4 yrs). When we found the right ring about a couple weeks went by then he asked me to lunch cause he wanted to ask me how I felt about something. He told me he planned to propose on the beach in T&C while there for my wedding. At first I was so happy. But when I told my FI he was not pleased at all. He actually requested that I ask my friend not to. So I called my friend up and explained that we really didn't want anything taking away from our day and that FI was concerned that his proposal would. He said he understood and said he planned to do it on the Sunday (the day after our wedding) but if he did it before he would ask that she not tell anyone and not wear the ring until after. Though I know that probably won't happen cause I remember when I got engaged I told anyone and everyone! I would expect her to be just as excited (she is 37 and has been waiting for this her whole life!!). Since then I have decided not to worry about it. In the end, I have to face the fact that it is their vacation and though I can ask them to be respectful of my wishes I can't make them do anything. I'm just concentrating on making my day the most memorable and special that I can and hope that all friends and family attending will participate to add and not detract from the occassion. I think Mallory hit the nail on the head, its irrelevant whether this is an AHR, birthday party, shower, or simply-I-just-want-to-take-pics-for-the-hell-of-it. You are a paying client and her services need to be fulfilled in accordance to your specifications. I think she is confusing her role, maybe she still sees you as a kid or maybe this is how she is with all her clients. Sit down and make it very clear to her that she needs to do her job! And if she doesn't its breach of contract and she won't get paid. Man the nerve of this woman...she really has me boiling. But its true sometimes what they say don't mix business with pleasure, sometimes it turns out fine in this instance its not. I'm sorry you have to deal with this! Hope it works out!

I may be a bit weird but of all the books eclipse was my least favorite....simply too much back and forth and unnecessary drawn out detail....but that's just me. In the same fashion I like Eclipse the least of all the films...I can excuse the paltry budget of the first film, the lack of special effects and the low budget cinematography but I just was not drawn into Eclipse. I can't wait for Breaking Dawn because that was my most fav of the books and I expect it will be of the movies too. Has anyone heard of there possibly being a fifth book? When Bella's daughter grows up...I had heard rumors of it but all have seemed to have disappeared.
