LOL Hurricane season or no hurricane season, I picked Oct 8th because it's columbus day weekend and most of my guest are teachers and/or are bringing their children, so that date works in providing a 3-4 weekend for guests. God is good.... he knows I've waited all my life for this day, therefore..... It will be a beautiful weekend. NO HURRICANES!! LOL If it so happens that mother nature decides to throw a hurricane or tropical storm my way..... Guest better not complain because they're the reason I picked such a convenient weekend.

Hi, Belize was my #1 location for a destination wedding but then decided on Cancun MX because FI felt that it was too much traveling involved since we wanted to stay in Ambergris, Caye, in the town of san pedro. To get to the island of San Pedro, you have to take a small jumper plane or water taxi from belize city. I did both and the experience was so worth it. San pedro is a little island in Ambergris Caye where all the restaurants are, Clubs, bars, shops etc.... Pretty much highly recommended location to be. Where in belize are you looking to have your wedding? Once you know where, then you can look up all inclusive resorts within that area.

I'm getting married Oct 8,2011. It's pretty much the tail end of hurricane season, so chances are pretty slim. As everyone else has mentioned.... The weather is unpredictable. I've been to the carribean in June/July and it's unbearably hot!! October is hot, not as hot as june/july. Hurricane season is at it's highest in august and september. I'd say do what your heart desires and just go with it. It will still be a very special day, regardless of the weather. Good luck and happy planning

In my opinion, even if your FI's shirt appears to be much whiter than your dress, I think he can pull it off. Especially since he'll be wearing Khaki colored pants, which will tone down the white shirt. How about having him wear a white, short sleeved shirt with a khaki color jacket, matching the pants? It would be ideal to go with linen, if he likes linen because it's light weight. Are you getting married on the beach?

I inquired about this through my TA and she was told by my MP WC that all I have to do is purchase a day pass for them. I've noticed that MP tells every bride differently. I'd say just purchase a 1 night stay & mention that a family friend will provide music. I would wait till the night before the wedding to mention anything because you'll need to know where they're going to set up. If you ask, they'll either say "NO" or will try to get money out of you.

I definitely would like to lose weight, the healthy way. I've done cleanses before and not only are they short term weight loss, but also not good for you. I'm 5'2 and weight 152 lbs. I should realisticly be at a healthy weight of 125-132. I can definitely use some guidance, would you mind helping?

Thank You all for the reassurance. I was becoming a tad bit concerned due to my guest bringing this issue up. I'm not so concerned anymore. I'm getting married in mexico and those that want to be there, will be there. Those that don't come, hey it's their loss.

Master Cleanse diet does work, although not good for you as some may say. You just have to be very careful that you don't gain all the weight back before the wedding.
