I can't believe everything that you have done! Nice work!

My FI was stressing about making sure the sides were "equal". I said, let's not sweat the small stuff. If we have more girls than guys, then one lucky guy gets to walk two lovely ladies down the aisle or vice versa. OR we have the honor attendant stand with us instead of walking the aisle. It all works out in the end. One reason to do a DW is less stress than an AHW....just roll with the punches and enjoy the day!

what I personally think it is very tacky to invite other friends with you if they weren't invited to the wedding. I can't imagine anyone doing that! Just my two cents, and I hope not to offend anyone. To me it is the recipe for lots of drama/issues.

YEAH! Glad I'm not the only one waiting so long. MN weather in Jan isn't great either so we are going to wait until summer.

I've got it narrowed down to Rose Hall Suites and the Riu. I would love input from peeps that have been there too!

I had a bad day,and was really cranky until I ran across this thread. Laughed hysterically! THANKS SO MUCH!

I was only in Maui while I was there....absolutely loved it, and would go back in a heart beat! For the first part of the week, I was at the south end of the Island and stayed at the Maui Prince Hotel near Wailea. It was a beautiful hotel. For the 2nd part of the trip, we went to Lahaina and stayed at a condo rental. They were very reasonable priced, and very nice! The shops in Lahaina were great. If you go to Maui, there are things you must do like see the Banyan tree in Lahaina, take the road to Hana, Go up to Haliakala (not sure how to spell that one!), go snorkeling and surfing! While I was snorkeling, some dolphins came to swim with us. That was completely unexpected and SO cool!

congrats! I am hoping to book 1/21/2011 in the next couple of weeks!! I thought we were really far ahead of the game. I was surprised to see how many people are already booking at this resort this far out. Now I'm getting nervous that I won't get my date! Since there is no deposit required, is there any penalty if you cancel? We haven't made our "final, final" decision, but I don't want to lose my date since they only book one per day!
