  1. Welcome to the forum. There is a ton of information on this site; so I'm sure it will help you choose your final destination!
  2. Congrats and welcome. I am getting married at the Barcelo; I see you are considering this location. If I can help at all let me know.
  3. Congratulations and welcome to the forum. You will find tons of useful info on here.
  4. Welcome to the forum; hope you find what you are looking for!
  5. You can't control who comes or not; just make the best of it with who is there. If you are having an AHR just tell the people that can't/don't want to make it that you will be having an AHR to celebrate with them when you get back. It's the best you can do!
  6. I have decided to do personalized flip flops from Party Flops for the ladies in the group. Now I need to find something to do for the men. I don't want fill the bag with a lot of inexpensive things (as that adds up quickly too); would rather just do one nicer item(under $5) for the guys. I was thinking about travel mugs but don't think I want to haul them all down there. Any ideas? My other idea was to buy something in Mexico for them? But what? What do you think of when you think of mexico... Was thinking maybe a snack of some sort; but everything I think of when I think of Mexico and food- you can't really put in a bag...tacos, margaritas, etc. Anyone have any ideas?
  7. Think it's proper to do the bride first. But I also think you can do whatever you want, so if you like the way it sounds with his first; go for it.
  8. I think my favorite idea is the white board; but it also sounds like the most work- have to have someone man the camera the whole time. Otherwise, I would definitly do this; would be very cute to put in your scrap book!
  9. For those of you doing the mat for people to sign...did you put an engagement picture of you in the middle; or a cute saying for what they were supposed to do? I am looking for a cute saying to either put in the frame...or next to it on the table; i.e. instructions. Any ideas?
  10. Your guests will appreciate having all that info. It's great for you to condense it like that for them!
  11. Wow, that letter was great. I wish I would've had something like that when I did mine!
  12. I just checked out the link you had. You could do something like the when pigs fly one...reminds me of Mexico and the "swine flu". I think it's funny; but others may not!
  13. We are leaving in January for my wedding. I think I am going to send out some info to everyone a week or two before we leave (I better get on this). It just snowed here; so I think I am going to take a picture of my dog wearing a sombrero in the snow...and then put something cute on it...maybe dreaming of Mexico. You could do something similar... Maybe I'll tackle this project today.
  14. The info card doesn't have to be as formal. Just jot down the info you want to include and play around with it.
  15. What is going to be included on each insert. Knowing the content might spark some ideas
