If there is a plated dinner choice I would put it below the yes RSVP...which makes it easier to check yes and than the dinner choice...

Maybe your friends could be invovled in your wedding in other ways...readings etc. Plus, your close friends usually understand the situation and some of them might even be relieved that they don't have to spend the money on a dress etc. Remember it always works out.... -

As long as your luggage is checked it should not be an issue. You will not be able to have it in your carry on. The other safer option is to ship.... -

We are providing guest with our schedule of planned activies...if they like to join they can but there are no expectations. Everyone is different and I found that guest appreciate this as there is no pressure to participate but there are activies available for if they want to join us.... -
I think it is nice to have a joint as well as a separate account. That way when you want to buy a present etc. for you fi and surprise him its easier. Plus I always like some of my independence. We also developed a spread sheet with our monthly expenses and sat down and talked about it...we review it every few months to see if we are on track and how we need to adjust....

We are doing a private I do in city hall right before we leave for our DW....basically the way I look at it...it's just paper work.
