Wow a month!! Exciting! jrb- I know, the wait is probably the hardest part next to finding a resort. If you want to let your guests know though, maybe send an STD saying something like "Wedding is Feb 2011, will communicate date asap" I have seen a lot of other brides do this. Also, I think that even with your party size, you might be able to get an earlier seating, but I think that has to wait until you get there and you can ask. Ok- now I have a question. Does anyone know (or remember reading about it) who does the ceremony and dinner set up? As far as chair bows, favor pass out on the chairs, table decorations for dinner, etc?

Yay! I grew up in all surrounding areas of Denver, and am ITCHING to move back. We need to wait until the economy gets a little better though so it will be easier to find jobs and such. I am guessing Andi lives in Golden? maybe not but thought I’d give it a shot. FI wants to move downtown when we move back, but it’s not logical to do that with our puppy, as he will need a yard (and another Papillion to play with!). We are considering Wash Park (kind of pricey, about 15 min from downtown, cute neighborhood feel), the up and coming Highlands area (a few miles east of downtown, great food, getting trendy, but safety may be an issue a little because of the neighborgood), Capitol hill (same as Wash park, not as pricey, but safety can also be an issue there, about a mile or so from downtown), DU area (near wash park, cute neighborhood feel). There are also the suburb options- Highlands Ranch (ALL of our friends live there, but it’s a little too far south for us, and we want a bit of a more urban feel), Golden, Littleton, Lakewood, Cherry Creek (we’d consider if it weren’t so pricey)….and many, many other cities in all directions. Bottom line is, Denver is the best city!! There is a ton to do there all year round. I agree with all of the advice that the above ladies have given. Communication, setting boundries, and possibly counseling. I did want to offer a little advice that really works for me every time I need to bring an issue up to FI. I never do it when we are arguing, or one of us is upset. I wait until we are getting along, and things are good. That way, both moods are regulated, and you're able to focus on the issues at hand, not mixed with all of the anger that comes along with an argument already in process. I am so so sorry you are going through this. I agree with Meitra- he should be doing everything in his power to assure that your relationship regains stability. I really hope it all works out- and if it doesn't, you will have a chance to find someone that won't betray you like he may have.

I think you have the right idea to just ask them what is up. If it were me, I would say something like, "I totally understand if you don't have time for this, so please just let me know either way." Sorry this is happening to you though. Frustrating!

I was going through some photos, and thought I'd share. I made this 'pimp cup' for my friends bachelorette party in Vegas. Used an acrylic cup, rhinestones, hot glue gun, and bride sticker. It was a hit! I really love how it turned out.

Alright- got them today! You can't really see it, but the vase second from left has an LED light in it. We are going to put some in all of them at different heights. The dots are scatter jewels. I love them!
