ALRIGHT ladies. The deposit was made tonight for my Maggie Sottero Reese knockoff from gianinabridal. I am SOOOOOOO excited to see how it comes out! They have been very responsive, which I love. Is this a wedding planner or the resort itself? I have had similar frustrations just dealing with an AI. Everyone seems to have a different price list, and 'SOMETIMES' you can get things free, sometimes you cannot... etc...etc... I am just keeping record of everything that is being told to me so I can present when I get there. BUT I totally understand. That huppah price is a little outrageous!! I think my resort quoted me 575 for a pretty gorgeous one with a lot of flowers.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this! As a person that works for an HMO insurance, I know how difficult it can/will likely be. Good luck with your appeal! Also, I'm not sure how 'traditional' you are, but FI and I did our legal recently for the exact same reason. His firm gives HORRIBLE insurance. Now he has full coverage on mine (not HMO. No one knows, we have kept it to ourselves. If that's an option, I would say go for it. Having quality insurance is really a great peace of mind.

Jenna- about 90% of my guests have booked through our TA. She also does the price matching, and when I posted that those rates went down a month ago, she sent some of them an $800 check! She's fantastic- a BDW agent!

Thanks for all of the tips Frenchie- Especially about the chairbows- at my last decision making time, I decided against them, but have still been questioning myself (of course!) SO cool that you got to see all of those weddings too! Even though you chose a diff resort, I'm sure it made you more excited. Chloe- awesome tip about the cocktail hour being free AFTER the mariachis are mentioned... I need to totally play that one up since we are getting them anyway I loved all of it in your pics- looked like fun! OH and I just told FI about the cigar idea you had for it- he's all over that. Samira-I'm not wearing a veil, and not sure if you can tell by my dress in my siggy, it's kind of between an aline and mermaid too. I'm just wearing a flower in my hair. Can't wait to see pics of your dress!
