i am getting married on the beach as well, and i wasnt sure as to what shoes i should wear.......i have decided on wearing some flip flops, that a designer friend of mine is gonna adorn w/ rhinestones, and shoe embellishments....im pretty xcited about them....i know they will b unique and beautyful w/ her touch added to them

yes, we will definetly have to keep one another in the know since we are all getting married around the same time. my photographer is one of my guests, so i will not have 2 pay for a day pass..............they have been very quick in responding to my emails

omg....i am so glad to have found this thread, i am really concerned about flowers, i am not sure if i should order the real flowers from the resort, and take a risk on not liking them. or if i should bring my bouquet from home, meaning i wouldn't be able to use real flowers.......what 2 do is there really a big difference in real vs. silk flowers??

Hey ladies, I am so exited to be getting married at the RTB on July23 2010, I am in the process of getting all of my confirmations now......I wanted to know if there were any brides out there that brought in their own centerpieces for the semi-private reception?? I really want to bring in my own DIY centerpieces just to add a little personalization to my reception table, I wanted to know if anyone has done this before, and if so how well did it go over??

hey ladies, i just got my confirmation back from the rtb for july 23 2010 and i am sooooo happy they had my date available, although the rtb is a tad bit more pricey than riu negril, it probably is because the resort has been renovate...i truly love the way the resort looks and it gets great reviews, plus the coordinator has answered my emails very quickly....hope this helps u ladies

omg...all of the dresses r beautyful, but i would definetly have 2 say that dress #1 is the best.....the sweethear neckline really acenuates your collar bone and shoulders, and i really love the back of the dress

hey wemkulaf, we just sent in to confirm our date at the rtb, we would like to get married om july 23 2010, i hope they have that date available, i really like the resort......right now, we are working w/ a travel agent, trying to get the lowest possible rates for the rtb...right now they are about $175-200 more expensive than riu negril.....im waitin to see the rates she gets back 2 us, then i will be better able to make a decision...i will keep u guys posted

@slgscot...thanx so much for the info., it is very valuable....this whole site is, it has helped me tremendously.....i know you stated that it make take the WC 3months sometimes up until a few days to get in contact with you, did she contact you thru phone mostly or by emailand were her responses prompt i really hope she would contact me @ least 2mos in advance :/...... also, is the beach in a private area with tiki torches, first dance, toasts, and limbo game included in the steel band per hour price or is that a seperate price, or own DIY project it sounds like great fun for a wedding party i wanted 2 add sum of my own personal touches, now u have made me super excited to do so!!!

Hi, there i am deciding between the Riu negril RTB for my wedding as well, if i run across any pics, i will send them your way

i just got my rates back from our travel agent, and it does seem to be about a $200-250/per person dollar difference between the Riu Negril and RTB, im going to see if my travel agent can negotiate some cheaper rates, i really hope so!!!!....we have a lot of decisions to make, i have to take into consideration that my FI and i can pay the difference in cost, but that our guests may not be able to :/ ....... but, it is my wedding and i will only be doing this once, and i reallllllly like the RTB.....what to do
