    glad u ladies know.....i had no freakin' idea what 2 do with my bands, since i will have 2....i think i might wear my e-ring on my right finger, and after the ceremont just put it in between both bands...thanx ladies

    hiya, i am getting married at the riu tropical bay in july2010...there are 2 many posts about the resort on here, but from the ones that i have read the resort is really nice and everyone seemed 2 have enjoyed themselves.....u can try tripadvisor.com , they have great reviews on there...i willl definetly keep you updated

    i am wearing an all white circle dress, like lucille ball........my theme for my bridal shower is a tea party, everyone must wear lrg. hats, kinda like hats that u wear to the kentucky derby, its gonna b a blast

    my FI is also wearing a custom made linen suit by his tailor....for his shoes he will be wearing sandals, that can compliment men toes.....ladies, we all know men toes r ugly...lolol...so i will have to approve of the sandals first...lol

    @jennblades---the info I have from the Riu is just my confirmation letter for my wedding date and time, and they have also sent me pics of what the beach or gazebo wedding locations look like....they have answered all of my emails fairly quickly, i am not getting married until July 23, so i will probably get more details around May, but i can email u what i do have if u would like, just private msg. me ur email addy

    omg, omg, omg....your pics are sooo pretty, i cant stop looking at them.....it seems like you guys had a fantastic time @ your wedding...reading your rave reviews about the Riu makes me eager to get back to Jamaica, sounds like the Riu is a great w/ resort, that gave u a fantastic wedding.....

    @vdaybride- just relax, relate, and release.....lol...i know it is easier said than done because your big day is right around the corner, hopefully your stylist will get her passport soon, but if not thankfully u will have your clip ins and u can style your own hair, if need be...regardless you are going to be a gorgeous bride

    @tifuhhknee/butterflyforkathy2- thanx so much ladies....i am so in luv w/ my dress, i cannot wait 2 get it fitted and wear it on my big day......no, i didnt buy the birdcage head piece, i am still looking for a veil, although i am going for a look similiar to that!!!!!

    ok guys, i posted my dress on another thread, but i figured i should post my dress in the correct thread...lolol.....so i absolutely luvvvvvvvv my dress, i cant wait to get it altered, check out my pics below........the flower sash is optional, i may or may not keep it, they had other sashes that were beautiful as well and complimented the dress nicely, or I can simply go w/o one......the pics do no justice for the details of the lace, it is beautyful, u can see a little in the 2nd photo...:0)

    black brides have to go thru so much when it comes to our hair, and being on an island w/ water is a whole different story, and no stylist.....whew, its enuff 2 make ya wanna slap someone...... lolol....fortunately my FI has always loved me w/ ultra short hair, i have been this short b4 (he says he can see my face .....so i will be very short for my special day......think along the lines of amber rose, jada pinkett smith-circa 1997/8, google them to see what i mean......
