  1. Your pics look amazing, I'm getting married at Beaches Negril in June and I'm happy to see that you all had such a great time. Thanks for sharing.
  2. No shower for us. We wanted to make this wedding experience as stress free as possible for ourselves and our loved ones. Since people are spending the money to come to Jamaica to see us wed, we decided against having a shower. For us it just felt like the right thing to do.
  3. Sherri your advice is awesome. Getting married at Beaches, Negril in June and your list has made my life so much easier.
  4. I use weddingwire and I love it. I had trouble loading music from itunes as well so we just had to use songs we had on our computer from other sources. I don't know why it acts so weird with itunes. If anyone figures it out let me know. Jennifer and Jarvis' Wedding

And that will be sent out about 4 months prior. Just to give our guest ample time to plan and save. I've received tons of feed back from our guests' thanking us for giving them this much time to plan, and also as a reminder. Hope this helps!! Thanks for the advance on when to send out the invites. When did you ask your guests to RSVP by? How much time did you give them to respond?
  6. I've been going back and forth about whether or not we would do a TTD session, but my mind is definitely made up now. These pics are fantastic inspiration. Love it!!

  8. I felt guilty about our decision to do a DW in the beginning, but then I realized that this day was about us and our love for each other. If it only ends up being the two of us standing on the beach in Jamaica exchanging vows we know we'll be happy. We love our family and friends and we understand that some will not be able to make it, but we also know that they will continue to love and support us no matter what. They have been behind us 100% in our choice to go away and so far those who are the most important to us will be there with us.

Thanks once again everyone!!! I think the dress is beautiful, though it looks as if it's weighing you down in the front. The back is absolutely amazing though. Good look today on your new dress shopping adventure. I hope you find something you love! (If you don't see anything that makes you go wow, you already have an amazing dress that I think will be stunning once its altered a bit)
  10. What an awful and absolutely crazy story! I remember him from the show.

We need to do a bit of preplanning here, to make sure that we get a picture with each and every guest on our wedding day, and we'll print out the picture, frame it, then mail it to the guests with the thank you cards after the wedding. The only snag I've come accross is where to find these frames that I can fill with sand! This is a great idea! I have been going back and forth about whether to do OOT bags, I hate getting things from weddings that I never use, so I want to make sure that what ever I do for my guests is meaningful and won't go to waste. I think I might just get some local fare when we get to Jamaica (rum, coffee, etc.)
