How much should you tip the following (and sorry if there is already a thread on this, I could not locate it).... * WC * Wait staff * Photographer - or is it already built in his cost? * Florist- do you tip florist I know Suzanne Morel said with tax and tip it would come to 25%, is this pretty standard for all the other vendors as well?

When my FI and I went to Cabo for our sight visit, we taste tested their meal options but forgot to taste the hot and cold apps for cocktail hour. Are there any Dreams brides who could give me some suggestions for three hot apps and three cold apps??

I personally would go with Dreams for several reasons. I was there in April and they treat you like kings and queens. The service is great, food excellent, beach and view is beautiful. They specialize in weddings so the day is perfect. I've heard some bad reviews with RIU and never one from Dreams. We are having our wedding at Dreams and I'm so super excited we decided on this AI resort. There are so many Dreams brides on here to help as well, which is huge seeing you may not get the answers from your WC. Good luck with the decision and if you need any questions answered, don't hesitate in asking.

Megan- I would highly suggest having your wedding at Dreams. They treat you with the utmost respect and make sure your stay is perfect. I'm planning on getting married there in June and the planning has been put at ease due to this sight and the helpful employees at Dreams. They specialize in weddings so your special day is guaranteed to be perfect. There are so many Dreams brides on this sight so we all share information and ideas. It's great!

My FI and I are going to legally get married here in the States and are then having a symbolic wedding in Cabo. I think all us brides know how much planning destination weddings entail and adding blood tests, xrays, extra $200 charges just seems like a nightmare.

The food is fabulous! There are several threads on the food at Dreams. Also, read some of the bride's reviews and they almost always comment on the food. El Patio has a wonderful breakfast, Seaside has great seafood... basically all the restaurants are good. You will get a good idea once you go. Take pictures of dishes and comment on the taste so when you get back you are able to share and reassure your family.

Keep in mind most spring breakers cannot afford Dreams and will most likely stay at a cheaper resort in Cabo. Since I'm a teacher, we had to follow the spring break Easter vacation timing and we found there were a lot of families at Dreams during our stay (good and bad)...hehe. I think stelladiver has the right idea of scheduling around those crazy college kids' schedule, you can't go wrong!

We are having our wedding in Cabo San Lucas and it is definitely kid friendly. We were there in April and there were so many families. The pool has a slide and they have a huge trampoline for the kids as well. There is a day camp with fun activities each day as well. This is all at Dreams Los Cabos if you are interested. Have fun planning!
