  1. I'm sorry you are going through this! I actually had a similar problem about 2 years ago. I was extremely susceptible to UTI's to the point where everytime one cleared up I got another one. I can definitely relate and know how frustrating this can be! I hope everything works out for you.
  2. Congrats and welcome!
  3. Well when I asked her if we could have a rehearsal she said it was up to us. We didn't end up having one and I never saw anyone else have one either. Just be sure to ask your WC any questions you might have when you meet with her. Deyanira just told us where to be and at what time. Right before the ceremony she came to my room to drop off our flowers and then we gave her the ipod with the music we wanted to have played before and after the ceremony. That was about it! And the food tax was the only additional charge they had. Nothing else was taxed. Like I said, I was able to calculate my exact bill before receiving it. I was pretty happy when I saw that!
  4. I like #3 as well! Might as well get something you can wear again!
  5. Hi Jocy, not trying to jump in here but I can tell you what my experience was from the bill. Just like the website says there is a tax added onto the food. I had calculated everything out myself prior to receiving the bill just to make sure they didn't sneak anything else in there. My bill and theirs matched exactly. The tax on the food was the only additional charge we received.
  6. We had our wedding at Dreams Punta Cana in June. I know I had read some really bad reviews before our trip. I got to the point where I stopped reading the reviews because they made me so nervous. We had 40 guests attend our wedding and not one person complained. We all really enjoyed the resort and had a wonderful time. Don't let any negative reviews bother you, it's a beautiful place.
  7. The wedding coordinator made the announcements for us. From what I have heard the dj does not usually do more than play music.

  15. We did this tour as a thank you to our guests the day after our wedding. You don't need to worry about bringing any alcohol with you. They did have mixed drinks along with the beer in the open bar.
  16. Congrats soccergurl! I'm glad that you had a great time!
  17. We had a Catholic ceremony at DPC so we had to get legally married beforehand. I was worried about the same thing, however I can tell you that it did not make that day any less special for me. Having the legal ceremony here made it much easier and it didn't take away from our wedding day. We never told anyone that we were already legally married therefore it didn't take away from their experience either.
