  5. good question- I have been wondering the same thing. My wedding is planned for a saturday with the rehearsal dinner friday, and guests should be coming in thursday, so i was almost thinking thursday but guests would have just spent the day traveling...so I'm undecided...

  7. I was thinking of doing my AHR similar to a wedding reception but on a sunday afternoon (perhaps around noon and serving a brunch). This way any venue or services will probably be at a discount price, and I can still have a semi-formal way of celebrating my wedding back home. How soon are AHR normally held? I'm getting married July 3rd 2010 and I was thinking of having the AHR on the 31st...? Also- what does the bride wear? the wedding dress?
  8. I agree- do what YOU want to do. My fiance and I did a week long vacation in orlando and visited universal, disney, and more. I think universal is a great time- we spent 2 days there and did everything, so I don't know what you would do for 5 days unless you spread it out...and keep in mind, universal is more of a ride/roller coaster place but they are still pretty kid-geared...
  9. YAY! How exciting! Make sure you take lots of pics and let us know how it goes!!
