  1. is it recommended to have a wedding planner/travel agent? if so, can anyone recommend one?
  2. do you still have a stag & doe for a destination wedding? and how far in advance do you usually have it?
  3. We are trying to decide on a resort for our wedding. My fiance and I are 24 and 26, we are getting married next year. We have 2 young children who we would like to bring with us. So we are looking for a place that is kid-friendly but also will be luxurious and entertaining for guests who range in age from 25to 60 years old. we have agreed that the things we are looking for are: -Price range of ~$1500 per person -Allows kids, but somewhere where we are not overwhelmed with kids everywhere -spa for bridal party -modern/clean with good food -Good entertainment, pool (swim-up bar?) -All Inclusive!! We have been looking at the Iberostar and Dreams Tulum... Any comments on either of these locations?
  4. This is my first post. We are just starting to plan a destination wedding for late 2010 in Maya Riviera. We have no idea which resort to stay at, or any other details that we should be considering...so im hoping this forum will help us out. Can anyone recommend some resorts?? Also, we are wondering if its beneficial to book through a planner, or to book through the hotel directly...any comments? Thanks!
