    I live here in Buffalo and it is a somber day here. Our local stations have nothing on but news about the crash. From the crash site I actually live a good 20 -30 min. It is very sad. I already know of 2 families that I know that had a family member on that plane.

    No I didn't expect anything or feel slighted at all. We got gifts for being bridesmaids and I got a "special " gift for being MOH that I didn't even feel was necessary. I was the MOH and honored to be. It seems to me that while I had a ton more to do than the other girls and did end up spending a ton more money that I was honored that she wanted me to be her MOH.

    So I bought a dress with my mom in November. Got it for a steal. It's very pretty but I have never been "in love" with it. Well I went shopping with my bridesmaids and found a dress I LOVE but it's about $500 more than the other one was. Plus I would have to sell the one I have. It has made 2 of the BM cry bc they say it's so pretty. I have read the what I would and wouldn't do again thread and have seen that it's kinda split on splurging on the dress. So what do I do?? So confused.

    I have never received anything for throwing a shower, except one where the groom brought us all flowers and his bride flowers. That's all. Pretty much all I've ever gotten for throwing a shower was a thank u card and a headache from the bridesmaids. Been MOH twice. Oh and stuck with a huge bill.

    HI everyone I am also a November Bride. November 13th to be exact. At Dreams PA SO far I have done: bought my dress (however I am now in love with a different one. lol) picked BM and GM Deposit on wedding STD (DIY boarding passes which were a pain) looking for BM dresses (but really undecided on color and style) I feel really behind. lol Need to : to a lot of stuff I am so excited though can't wait.

    I think the things u r looking for a re definately possible. I love the pink and orange it makes me want to rethink my colors. lol. ANd I just saw a flower girl dress like that and thought it was so cool looking. The top was a little more formal looking but the bottom was the same with the flowers in it.

    I think if they r really your best friends and it is important to u that they are staanding next to u, u should have 1 on 1 talks with them and find out what the issues r. If u get them in a group they may be defensive or not tel lu the truth. If u still don't get an acceptable answer u should drop them and move on. This day is about u and FI and that is what u should focus on. Good luck and hugs to u. hope it all work out the way u want it to.

    I agree with the girls that have said that u should just leave it uneven. I don't think that u should ask someone just to ask them. Not to mention that asking someone your not close to to spend all the money to be a bridesmaid may not go over well.

    I would stay away from them if u are going to step anywhere near the water. They don't hold up at all if they get wet. Had to wear them for a wedding once and had to have different pair of shoes to wear outside bc it was raining. Just a thought. Other than that they are great bc they will match the dresses perfectly.
