Hello Ladies!!! I hope all of your planning is going well. I just wanted to know if any of you planned on sheddign some pounds for your August wedding? I personally, am trying to lose about 30 lbs. Maybe we could start a weight loss challenge or something?

Did she tell you how much the per-person charge would be to have a private dinner with the Tropical Package? Also, what did she say about having music, etc. at Poseidon? Charmaine told me you could not have music or entertainment there. I'm waiting to here from her on the above. She asked how many guests I had and said that since I picked the Tropical Package the wedding would be held in the Poseidon Restaurant. She didn't state any extra per person charge except for the $30.00 per person that is included in t he package. When I spoke to Charmaine she did tell me that reservations would be made for my guests in one of the restaurants but she never told me which one. She also never gave me a price. Still waiting....I will get with you ladies as soon as I hear anything.

Hello. I did send Jascynthia an email last week on Thursday for additional info on the wedding packages and she responded the same day. We went back and forth twice and there was no problem. I know some of the other ladies have been having a hard time getting through to her so I was shocked when she responded. I did have a hard time reaching the previous coordinator Charmaine. So most of the info that I received was from on this board and from Palladium Addict. When I spoke to Jascynthia she told me that since I picked the Tropical Package we would be having the reception in the Poseidon restaurant and that I would have to select my menu two months before the wedding.

We are playing at work. First thing I would do is quit my job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love it. I too am not wearing a traditional dress. Evrytime people ask me about my dress and I tell them it's hot pink they look at me like I'm crazy. So!!!!! I don;t care this is what I want to wear and I will wear it. The dress looks awesome on you. I say go for it!!!!!

Beyonce and Jay- Z also have these. They were regular bands over top too. I was in the tattoo parlor and a woman came in wanting to get her husband's initials on her finger. I think more and more people are starting to do this.

I think her RSVP date was for October 1, 2008 this year. Her wedding is not until Oct 2009. A year later. I like Justustwo's wording. It sounds great!

I LOVE the idea of a nontraditional wedding gown. Mine is a pale pink and hotpink ombre gown. I say go for it!!!!!

That is plenty of time. People are always going to complain. I am telling people that if they are coming "Let's go, if not I"ll see you when we get back". I have enough stress planning that I don't need to hear other people complaining. At the end of the day it is all about you and your FI. No one else matters. If they really want to be there they will make the effort.

I just want to say that I got my dress and I LOVE it!!!!! I ordered it from Nordstrom and they ended up not having it and sent me an email apologizing. I then went on Ebay and found it for waaaaayyy less than on Nordstrom. It fits perfectly!!!

WOW!! Evrything thing looks great. You did an awesome job! The only other thing as another posted, would be to take out your home address from the brochure.

At this point I'm surprised that you are remaining so calm. I personally would be going crazy right now. I would keep on them and try to contact them by any means. Two weeks will come and go so fast. This is your wedding! Regardless of how many people you have coming or not someone should be contacting you to make sure everything is in order. I was having a problem with getting responses from Charmaine as well. I'm sorry that you are going through this and if you want to be a bridezilla you have every right.
