just to let you know, the season finale is coming up!! I think it's episode 6 or 7...I really hope that this is a Mid-season Finale...because I waited a long time for this season to start. lol

I was gettng them every single day for a while, and then they stopped, so I couldn't wait any longer and placed this big order. I still saved TONS of money..however I spent like $69 (They did give me Priority shipping free however) and then 2 days later, I get an e-mail with TONS of freebies! So I had to take advantage...I stol Lisa's little "Rain or Swine" (Thanks Lisa :-)thing and I had large calendar magnents made....It says "Counting down the days until we're in Cancun" and underneath it it says, "We'll be there come rain or SWINE!" And of course I have our name, Date & Dreams Cancun on everything. I even put a little asterick on the date of our wedding. I'll be sending those little freebies out with our brouchures & Luggage tags. Dreams Cancun Brides....How is the bug situtation down there? I have a major bug phobia and I am wondering if I should just bring some Off wipes...or ya..a can of Raid..LOL In Punta Cana it was little lizards & frogs,..ALL OVER...So I am wonderng if it's the same in Cancun, specifically at Dreams ? Also...For those of you that used the sound system for your reception on the Lobby Terrace...Should I bring extra lighting for the area where the sound system is? I don't want to be dancing the dark ...Maybe some lanterns or something? How is the lighting in that area? Thanks :-)

Darn, I wish I would have put that on my Brochures.....and by the way..I know this isn't a rant thread but I need to hijack a minute....after I spent about $28.00 on 25 brochures from Vista Print over the weekend....TODAY I get my freebie e-mail for 25 FREE brochures!! I was not a happy camper. But the good news is, I can make new ones if I hate these and it will be like I only paid once..LOL ok..Hijack over....I will make note of that & let my guests know by e-mail or word of mouth! :-) Thanks

Can you all believe that we are getting married next month?? And for us Mexico brides, can you believe this crap with the Swine Flu & how the stupid Media has stressed us all out?? Ughhh! Well once the end of April came, I put my butt into gear. We finished buying our Wedding party gifts and parents gifts...We ordered all of our Vista print stuff..I got my dress, jewlrey and Wedding shows..FI has his whole outfit...our OOT bags are almost done..I just need to do the first aid stuff and get word find books. I also need to get some more things for the kids bags. I am working on the music for the reception now...I need to make some signs for the guest book & cake table (using my dog) LOL and I also need to get a guest book. Thankfully all of the major stuff is ordered & paid for...I only have some little things to finish. I am stressed, but also happy it's almost over!!! :-) Are you girls finding that your more stressed now that's it's so close? I am feeling overwhelmed :-(

Hey ladies, Just wanted to let you know that I am still in for the Starfish passing. I know I was MIA for a couple of weeks, but we are still good to go on that. Hey Lisa, did you get my e-mail in regards to it? I will get it from you and then pass it on -) can't wait!

We are also paying for the Wedding ourselves, However, our parents have been more then awesome about everything (Our Moms and Step-Dads)..So we are definitely getting them photobooks made after the wedding, but we also got them gifts to give them at the rehearsal. We got our moms Embroidered Robes from Smarty Pants Boutique..They have their initials on the front and "Mothe of the Bride/groom" on the back..and we are also paying for them to get their hair done. I am thinking of doing the embroidered hankies fo them as well. For the Ste-dads, we got them "Father of the Bride/Groom" shirts & we'll get cigars in Mexico. We got FI"s Step-dad an engraved Zippo that has "pops" on the front and We Love You on the back with our date under it. For my step dad we got him this really big black travel coffee mug and on the front their is a metal plat, we got his name engraved on it and it also says we love you, with our date under it. It took forever to figure out what to get them though, especially the dads, so i am so glad that is done!!!

Ok..Thanks!! I really am freaking out..LOL They are one of the main things I "have to have" in my OOT bag. Plus, Now that everything is so close, I am stressing over everything. I know you can probably relate!! I will relax a little now that I know it takes some time

Did anyone have a not so good experience with him? I'm not sure if I should be nervous or not. I put my order in on 4/27/09 and I e-mailed him my artwork that I made and wanted on there. After that I haven't heard a peep from him. I e-mailed him to see if he got my artwork and if it was ok to use...Nothing, then I e-mailed him today and asked if he can please just acknowledge that he is getting my e-mails and if he has a ship date for my Koozies and nothing!!! I don't want to overreact because I know that alot of you have ordered from him, but my stuff has been paid for over two weeks now. I think I at least deserve a response, right? So did anyone else have this issue? Or am I just a stressed bride whose date is getting closer and I'm feeling overwhelmed

Ya know, I love the Tudors and I did the same thing as you. I kept seeing previews for Season 2 before that came out and it looked awesome, so I watched all of season 1 on demand and I was hooked!! So I googled it to see how much was true and it seems pretty accurate, although I'm sure they go overboard on some stuff. I think JRM does a great job as Henry and I don't remember him being that hot in Bend it like Beckham!! LOL I am addicted to this show. I thought that this season wouldn't be the same without Ann Boelyn. I loved her, however, It's still good. I'm excited for Joss Stone to come in as his 4th wife.

Wow I was just reading through this thread and I can't believe what everyone has been going through with this Swine Flu. I am so sorry to everyone who has to move their Weddings, Although I'm sure it's going to be Fabulous no matter what. It sounds like for the most part everyone's guests have been supportive. All of my guests have been great! They all said, they will be going to Cancun no matter what and they haev set my mind at ease. It;s the people who aren't even coming who are getting on my nerves. If one more person says, "Oh, what are you gonna do now" Its like, mind your business, eveything is ok!! LOL Anyway...All the May brides I am excited for you!! Can't wait for pics & reviews!!

When do you leave? & All I have to say about this Swine Flu is...Where the hell was it when we booked our trip?? The prices have gone down for sure. I'm not sure if it's because of the Swine Flu, or if the AirFare has dropped, but either way, my last minute people are getting great deals!

I wasn't stressing until tonight. A friend of mine works with a girl who was going on their honeymoon in the Riveria Maya and she texted me and said her trip was cancelled. I haven't heard of them stpping travel though, So maybe she meant they just cancelled it. I am so on edge right now....Blkatz..I am sooo sory that this is happening to you right now. I really hope that you make the best of this somehow and get through it. You know we are all here from you and feel your pain more then anyone else probably would! Between the Drug wars and now this..I don't think I can take much more. All of this planning for something stupid like this to happen. We still have just about 2 months and alot can change, but I'm scared. UghhhhhHHHHHH!!!
