I haven't got my booking info yet, however..I know when I do, I'm gonna have lots of complaints..Oh well :-) Hang in there!!!

I need help :-( I made this really nice Monogram on Power Point. Now I've never used it before...and I thought I did pretty damn good for being a beginner...So I saved it as a picture. Well, when I went to go edit it in my picture editor...The only thing that saved was the Blue Oval..None of the words or the picture wasn't there :-( I really like it...Anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to save as a whole?? Soooo....I am not having any luck so far with this DW thing!! Sunday will be TWO weeks since I sent my first email to them just to set my date!....Then this past Monday, I sent them e-mails directly from the addresses I got off the Web Site.... I know everyone on here told me it may take a little while, but I dont understand how hard it is just to set my date!! I don't need them to do anything else until it gets closer to the wedding...My Travel agent (my new one...not the one that filled the same online request form that I did and i still haven't heard from him!!) Anyway, my TA will take care of the travel and things like that (Obviously), but I can't even get prices until I set a date. My family & friends want to come, but they also need to know how much money they are gonna need for this and it's less then a year away (hopefully) I'm sounding like a broken record, but it's very discouraging :-( I'm so excited for this and it's like I'm stuck one spot! I know you girls have probably been there done that..LOL so thanks for letting me vent :-)

Hello... I don't think I've read this on another thread and I wanted to ask. I am hoping to have my DW at Dreams Cancun next July....I also was hoping to make my own Center pieces and Bridal Bouquets and I'm not sure what else. My Question is...Would I be able to ship any of this stuff out, say a month or so before the wedding to my WC at the resort? Has anyone ever done this? I really don't want to have to drag all of that stuff on the plan with us! It's bad enough I am gonna be a nervous wreck about my dress!! Any thoughts or Advice is appreciated!! :-) Thanks!!!

Hello fellow DW Brides!! I have recently decided to have a DW...Originally I had a hall booked locally and was going the Traditional route...Well things changed...and we have decided to not only have a DW, but move our wedding date up from Sept 09 to June of 09 :-) So now my Wedding is less then one year away! I'm stressing a little, I picked the place for our DW (Dreams Cancun) I e-mailed the request form to the resort and then the next day I actually sat with a TA, who also e-mailed the resort & now here I am, a week later....I still have no confirmed wedding date...I haven't heard one thing from them! I know they are busy and it takes about a week (I've heard) But I am really getting upset....I just want a Wedding date! I want to really start putting all these Ideas in my head and making them reality, but I can't do anything without that date. Has anyone else gone through this, less then a year before your DW? Did you have to wait this long and if so, did you get everything you wanted? I feel like they can at least can back to you and confirm your date...then, maybe if they don't respond really quickly to all your questions, I'd understand. I already know that most of the dates I wanted in June are taken, Thanks to a very helpful girl on this site who has been listening to me wine all week (Thanks again for that!) PLease put my mind at ease and let me know you have gone through this and you heard from them in a week?? LOL Thanks :-) Jenn

I am HOPING to get June 6, 2009 as my Wedding date for Dreams Cancun..But I haven't heard from the resort yet. I filled my request form out on Sunday and then I went to a TA yesterday and he actually filled the same form out! My Name is Jennifer..I'm from Philadelphia. We just decided to cancel our "Traditional" wedding that I booked in Jersey and have a Destination Wedding!! Our planned date is June 6, 2009 (Or at some point that weekend) I am not sure if I will get that date yet though, The Travel agent is waiting to hear back from the resort on Availability. The wedding will be at Dreams Cancun. I have looked on this site all day yesterday and I have to say, it's already been a big help. I look forward to posting here and also talking with Future Brides to be as well as people who have already experienced this! :-)
