  1. My best advice would be to drink a TON of water! It sounds like you are doing everything else right. Limit alcohol and salt and eat healthy everyday. Be sure to exercise at least 30 min of cardio per day. good luck...I hope the lbs. fall off!
  2. The food looks so yummy! I get our meals from a meal prep service around here and I have to tell you girls-it is awesome! I highly recommend doing this! It saves you so much time and $$.
  3. OMG I am so sorry girl. I hope they find that bastard! Thieves piss me off so bad. They would rather steal than to work hard like everyone else. Yeah, what is the lo-jack?

Haha, this is going to be me! I do not "glisten" like most girls, I am a sweaty, gross beast. I sweat really easy so I am so nervous. Another thing-I am allergic to pantyhose so I can't wear spanx. I will prob. just do the secret deodorant thing.
  5. We are staying in the same hotel for our honeymoon. I guess it will just be called our weddingmoon. We plan on going somewhere fabulous for our 1 year anniversary though-without the family!
  6. I consider myself religious, but I don't go to church as often as I would like so that is what I selected. I was brought up Methodist and attended church regularly as a child, but now I don't go as often as an adult.
  7. Thanks for the info everyone. Josie-I don't think we get a wedding pack. I know we don't hear from the WC at the RPRM until a couple months before the wedding. They will just confirm details, etc. Hope that helped you. Shellk-I am staying in my room the night before my wedding (we got the 2 story suite-yay) FI will go stay somewhere else, haha. I think he will prob. stay with friends or his brother. I am not writing my own vows. Carrieo-I can't wait to hear what you end up doing in the time between the ceremony and the reception. Keep us posted.

  12. Sounds like you had a great time I can't wait to see your pics!
  13. Who are the wedding coordinators y'all have been talking to? Just curious. I was emailing Vanessa Pedraza back and forth, but last time I tried to contact her it was another girl who emailed me back, so I don't know if she is still there. What are y'all planning on doing in between the wedding and your reception dinner? We are getting married at 5 pm and if I read it right, we won't be able to eat until 8 pm at the restaurant.

Congrats on finding the right dress!
  16. No problem! Yes, I would definitely recommend going through a TA. They work for your best interest and can find prices and let you know of things that you otherwise wouldn't be aware of. It is worth it for sure. My guests are okay with the price. Lots of them have been to RIU's before so they know it will be worth the price. If you want something a little cheaper maybe you can check out the RIU palace mexico-it is right next door from the RIU palace riviera maya and since it is a little older it is probably cheaper and it also looks very nice. Good luck! Feel free to PM me if you need anything else
  17. FI and I went to Punta Cana on vacation and we didn't take any malaria meds and we are fine. There was a thread on the a while back and most of the girls said the same thing.
  18. I am so sorry Gina! My guests are flying in all different days so that will help. Actually none of my wedding guests are on our flight! Good luck with everything and that TA should have checked before she told you to book on that flight.
  19. Congrats!! You looked beautiful and I love your hair too!
  20. Hey krs182! We are going through a travel agent and most of my guests are spending about $1200 per person for around a one week stay. For thursday to sunday they are spending around $850 per person. I hope that helps you. Just recently the prices went down, so the prices listed above are the new rates. If you don't want to go through a travel agent Funjet Vacations - Vacation Packages to Las Vegas Mexico Hawaii the Caribbean Europe Family Travel Destination Package Air Hotel Online Booking has great rates and there are also great TA's on this forum. We have a RIU Palace Riviera Maya thread going. Feel free to join in or read the posts because there is tons of info on the hotel and weddings on there: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t25118
  21. My SIL has a Murano and loves it! I drive a VW Jetta so I am no help! Good luck in your search!
