Less than 3 weeks before we arrive... WOO HOO! Though honestly it doesn't feel like we are leaving that quickly. Maybe not everything has totally sunk in yet dunno, it's weird. It still feels like it should be far away. Anyway, I've ordered some chocolate seashells for the wedding cake. The resort cake was going to be pretty plain... white with some flowers on top. So I though the shells would look jazz it up more. So it should be here the first week of November, then I just have to repack with the ice packs and box it when we go. I'm getting my hair trimmed next week and will probably get some highlights as well. Will probably get gel nails done (since my nails are not femmine looking at alll...lol) and definitely a pedicure (wearing heavy steel toe boots all day take a toll on your feet I find). Hoping to go to Edmonton for some shopping... need more dresses... maybe another bathing suit. My MOH hasn't found a dress yet... and is complaining on her facebook about it. I wish she didn't wait last minute (didn't care what type of dress as long as it was a cretain color). FI says I made a big mistake when I picked her for my MOH. But whatever... This whole wedding may put a strain on our friendship, we'll see. I've paid for everything but her room (her dad paid for that) and she still complains. Might not get the TTD done in Mexico, Claudia doesn't think a Cenote will be available on Sunday or will be extremely busy. So maybe I'll look into a photog in St Lucia... won't hold my breathe on getting it done there. I need to start taking pics of the OOT bags and items. FI liked the OOT bags and thinks everyone will like them too. And the emails from the airlines about changes to the flights... geez, hope they stop soon. Love the stuff from esty Vikki. And Melissa, sexy new dress and heels.

Ok, quick question. Does a day pass have to be purchased for an outside photog or is that included in the $300 resort outside photog fee?

I started off using one... One from dw.com, but she kept telling that she couldn't get pricing for Canadians until a certain time which was being pushed out further and further (July of this year was going to be time she going to be able to get prices). Anyways, I stopped using them then went AMA, but they would only give me prices for Air Canada, and the pricing they were giving me were $2000 more than other packages I could find. So I basically I gave people quotes (gave the websites, and phone numbers as well) from Air Canada, American Airlines, Book.com, and Continential. Let them pick there own packages with who they wanted to travel with. It worked better for us, people saved money, and never really have any problems.

I agree the dress does look great on you. The dress will look even more different once you are done up. Then I think your opinion should change.

If I was doing a AHR I probably would have used Oriental Trading and went with the "tropical" theme of course. They have lots of decorations that are pretty cheap.

We are going to Jade Mountain for 5 nights for our Honeymoon. I opted for the AI option as well. FI will be surprised for sure. He wanted to go somewhere different, but not tell him... but eventually he knew it's in St Lucia, and knows the name of the resort now (since others asked him where we were going), but has even looked at pics of it, so it will be a surprise somewhat. He did ask how much I paid for it, and nearly $hit brick, but I told him this would probably be the only chance we'd get to experience a place like it. They take half the payment upfront as a deposit, then the final payment 30 days before you arrive... so my final payment comes off my credit card next week. It's going to be quite the experience there!!!

Yes, post pics of the dress. And that was a great gift from your sister Melissa. One month today for us for the big day. 27 days before leave. Time is FLYING!!! I received my travel pillows yesterday evening, so I'll be able to send out my "pre-travel" gifts this week. Anyone getting nervous? I just feel like I'm forgetting to do something, but know idea. lol

Yikes, hopefully you get your money back. I wouldn't accept a cheque either... cash or refund on the credit card. I couldn't imagine if that happened closer to the wedding date.

Man, oh, man. You definitely get all sorts of types of people when it comes to wedding stuff. Your mom shouldn't have to pay for a party she wants inviting her people only pretty much.

We'll probably hold on to the rings ourselves. Much rather if it did get lost or something that it's us and not someone else...lol Yeah, my FI didn't help very much... rolled 15 sheets of paper for my MIB... lol. I have asked for suggestions, but I might have gotten a response to 3... like type of cake, live music or CD for ceremony, and an agreement to digital frames for people...lol One relief was that my MOH FINALLY found her dress last week... talk about last minute waiting. And 2 more people have decided to come now... I have to double check when I get home to see if I have to order extra gifts (I ordered extra anyway, but I can't remember if I received 1-3 extra of certain things). plus re-submit the paperwork to the WC with the new information... no biggie there, but still a pain.

That truly sucks. Hope this is a big mistake, and it's not really only 5 rooms available. It really just seems weird. As for the dresses, understandable. I only have a MOH, and she only just found her dress last week and still needs to get it altered. We live in different provinces, and I told her to find a dress that fits her and that she liked, but it had to be turquoise, and I would send the money for it. For months she was no rush no worries, it'll be easy for her to find something... then she starts freaking because she couldn't find anything with weeks left. Hopefully the alterations go well...
