  1. heehee... I soooo wanted Cenote after seeing them. I would be kicking myself in the butt if I didn't do it.
  2. Thanks. So I'll probably go with I somewhat had in mind... wasn't too sure though... lol. Plus I'll probably do a final/actual RSVP with the formal invite too.
  3. We will be paying for half, but we will only have MOH and BM. We are also going to be paying half for his sister, and either half or all for his parents and my parents.
  4. I originally was going to go with Sol, but she'd be a little out of my budget. So I have booked Claudia for a 5 hours session and a Cenote TTD. Claudia was my second choice, so at least I get someone I wanted from the 2.
  5. The more I read, the more I seem to get confused... I was only going to do just invites, but now I want to do STD with the RSVP. I want to use the MIB, the passport booklets, and boarding passes... but I'm confused to what should be what? Should I use the MIB as the STD with RSVP or use the MIB as the invitation and have the boarding pass as the STD. I was thinking this... boarding pass STD with RSVP, MIB as the invitation (to those that accept tentatively and family - even the ones that say no), and then have the passport to those that book with additional information (what to take, what to except, facts of the area, reminders what to have done, attire, etc)? HELP!!!
  6. Oh wow, it's amazing that they can make them so life like.
  7. I'm a Mechanical Inspector... somedays I like it, other days I wished I went with I was originally going to do... be a vet... or RCMP... both of those appeal me moreso... **sigh**
  8. Oh no, that is terrible. I really hope everything works out for you. Ugh, I can't believe companies out there would do that to someone. **hugs** And hmmm... I'm using DW as well as my travel agent... I'll have to find out what company they are using...
  9. Oh wow, I like that ... might have to borrow the idea from ya.
  10. Hey thanks! I would like to use glass... but I'll use plastic if I have too.
  11. My fiance asked my on March 9, 2008 We were on a sledding trip in the BC mountains. It was my first sledding trip. Anyway... We went exploring through the mountains with some friends. It was super snowing and I was getting a little cold. So my by/fiance made a snow hut for me... lol. It kept me warm. I stayed there until the the rest were finished... even got some additional heating in the hut with my bf/fiance when we alone... lol.... Eventually when it was time to leave, the friend headed otu first, and Mark and I were talking while getting ready to head... he stopped and came over and saod "So will you marry me?". I was a little shocked and said "are you serious, or you just pulling my leg?"... lol. So then he dropped to his knees then I burst out crying realizing he was serious. I shook my head yes because I couldn't get the words out. We hugged and kissed, and I cried so more... then he said I'll fog up the visors if I keep crying like that when I put them on... lol. Then I laughed. So I was asked to be married on the mountains.
  12. Wondering if there are any that were married or getting married at the Iberostar Grand? For those that were married there, experiences? What additionals did you do?
  13. I am going to do the message in a bottle for invitations... but where in Canada can I get this? I was going to use Hanson Ellis, the shipping would be expensive. I ordered a sample (one bottle) and it cost almost 17 for shipping... So I'm looking for Canadian sources for my MIB. I orginally chose Hanson because of the etching, but if I can get a Canadian source I might be able to get the bottles each for .15 per letter or just forgo the etching. Why does everything have to be sooo expensive?

If you'd like to see my photos, send me a private message! Thanks Hi there! Thanks for the recommendation... I don't have one booked, but I have sent a message to Sol Tamargo inquiring information. I heard a lot of great reviews about her. But I will definitely check out Cecilia as well.
  16. hee hee, this was quite amusing.
  17. Wow, thanks for the warm welcomes.
  18. Hi there. New to the site... looks like it'll be a helpful one too. I'm from Fort McMurray, AB. I am getting married to my high school sweet heart November 14, 2009 at the Iberstar Grand Hotel in Mexico. Can't wait. I'll probably be frequently on the site... need all the help I can get... lol. Even though I still have a ways to go yet for the wedding. I have some ideas on certain things and clueless on others. Hope to chat with some of you soon.
