We are having around 80 people for our wedding and we are doing welcome bags as well. Like budgetjamaicabride (ha thats long!) everyone will get a travel mug and then the rest will be a bag per couple, single or family. We will take everything down along with help from our parents and friends-cause it will be alot. We have people flying out of 10 different cities (both US and Canada) so it would be impossible to do it beforehand.

Welcome dinner dress is different than rehearsal dinner dress.. Or at least it is for alot of people as they are on two different nights! I cant find a picture of my rehearsal dress. Its white linen/cotton v-neck with ruffles from bcbg.. I'll take a picture of it and post it. No idea why its the only dress missing from their website!

I was in a wedding last year where they did that. Well it wasnt for when we were walking down the aisle but it was when we were introduced at the reception. There were 8 pairs (bmaid/groomsman), the parents of the bride, the parents of the groom, and the bride/groom. We all got to pick our own song and then do our own little entrance to it.. It was so awesome, everyone loved it and really showed everyones personalities off! So if thats any indication, that was 11 dif songs, I am sure you would be fine for four different ones for the ceremony!

We didnt really get too many engagement gifts(cards are pretty much the staple up here), but we did really like the edible arrangement we got, and a gift certificate to a wine pairing/cooking class which is always super fun. Its a fun night out on someone else's dime

My mom got hers at bcbg (or bdgc -in her words, hahaha). I was super surprised, and havent seen it yet but she said its floor length and strapless (!!!!). I cant wait to see it on her. But I would definitely say dillards or any department store.

OMG at first I thought your dress was on a mannequin b/c of the tiny waist! Wow, I wish! Good choice on the jewellry, it all goes great together and is simple and elegant. $30 for jewellry is super cheap in my mind and if I were your bmaid I would be more than willing to buy it for myself!

Not at all, I was thinking of going a bright coral/orange color. One of my biggest pet peeves of brides is when they don't look like themself on their wedding day.. Like they get a prom do-even though they never wear their hair up, or wear a ton of makeup-when usually they go natural.. so if you normally wear red, then wear red, its you!!

I would do a hair flower with studs and a necklace(if you wanted to do a necklace). My rule is always if your wearing a necklace then you wear studs, if your wearing big earings then no necklace.. Keep it simple thats my two cents!

I am not buying/bringing anything. I don't even know if we will have a cake. The last four weddings I went to, I didnt even see the cake!! I guess if you want it for the purpose of pictures I could see it, but otherwise I kinda think its a waste of money.. don't hate me, just my personal opinion!!

I see all these other threads for different months but not December! Wanted to see if there were any others out there? And if so, what have you done so far in regards to planning? Where and When are you getting married? I am getting married at the Dreams Resort in Huatulco on December 29th, 2009. We fly out on christmas day (gasp!) and the guests fly home on New Years Day (another gasp!), but we will fly home on the 8th So far all I have really done is bought my dress, FI's suit, rehearsal dress, sent out STD's, made a wedding website, had most of our guests put down a deposit, picked out bridesmaid dresses and groomsmans outfits.
