  6. After reading all of these posts, I wonder how I missed this one! In order of occurance: 1. While getting ready I gave my sister and best friend (bridesmaids) their little blue Tiffany's bags - they were flabbergasted, and my BFF's face in the pictures is exactly as I remember 2. Laughing with my parents while waiting to go down the aisle, and double double double checking that my dad didn't have cigarettes in his front shirt pocket -- he threatened he'd smoke during the ceremony... really, he is a funny guy -- at the time though I was freakin. 3. Chad offered to spit on my hand when the ring wouldn't go on. I almost snorted from laughter 4. Chad almost took out our photographer during our shell wish ceremony after the wedding, he whipped the seashell directly at her. 5. Chad's nephew called me Auntie Amy for the first time. oh man.. I could go on forever.

  8. Happy Birthday Heather... Hope your day is as sweet as the cupcakes!!!!
  9. I threw a bachelorette party for my bff... the theme was LINGERIE We had a lingerie tree - where guests brought lingerie for the bride and hung it on display on the tree We had a homemade lingerie competition, with a modelling component - guests were asked to MAKE lingerie, and model it for extra points -- no loss of points for wearing a bathing suit under the lingerie. I don't have pics here, but it was a really funny and fun affair!
  10. This definately should be a wake up call. I only feed Jack (dog) and Turk (cat) dry food, as it is best for their teeth. They have always had annual exams. I actually brush Jack's teeth every morning, gross, yes. When he was a pup, i read that it was in his best interest to do so...and now it is a part of our routine, I say ''brush, brush'' and he comes to the bathroom - reluctantly, but he does it. Last Christmas, SIL's mother (not MIL) lost her dog at the age of 8 to dental disease. I am not a vet, but apparantly before they put a dog under anaestetic for dental work, they inject antibiotics to ensure that the bacteria on the teeth does not get in the blood stream. Well, that is precisely what happened -- SIL's mother blames the vet for not administering the antibiotics early enough, when they did the dental cleaning, the bacteria got into the blood stream and the dog died.
  11. Wow... that is crazy. Very sad, at such a young age.

  14. I have noticed there is a large population of Canadian brides here, and sections like the Cuba forum are really picking up in popularity. Cuba - Best Destination Wedding Forum I am curious to know what are your Canadian sources of information, products, travel etc. for planning your DW. I know that many of the vendors/sources/products discussed here are sourced from the US. If you sourced elements of your wedding in Canada, what Canadian Vendors did you use 1. Registry: 2. OOT bags: 3. Wedding Attire: 4. Rings: 5. Invitations: 6. Flowers: 7. Decor: 8. Travel Arrangements: 9. Are you active on any other Canadian Forums? (if yes which ones): 10.
