You probably want to plan activities with your guest too. You will have to travel quite a distance to get to everything, because of it's location. Good Luck, J Their guest policy has changed. You do not have to pay for them to come to the weddign techincally speaking but if less than 80% of your guests saty at Half Moon then you have to pay a site fee for that particular location where you are having your ceremony/reception.

She was recommended by the restaurant we are using for the lunch, but she first said she needs a $100 deposit to reserve our date. But when I asked her about it again since the contract said $200, she came back and told me to cross out the contract and make it $300. This doesn't seem right, considering every document she has sent us has said $200. Granted that is not a very large deposit, but since she will not tell me prices for individual items, I am afraid of what I am getting myself into. Has anyone gotten quotes from her or used her We have tried Almarie from TWJ since everyone says she so responsive, but she really hasn't been for us. She keeps giving me quotes for what we don't want. Any suggestions I did you can PM me

Hey Nikki, We are getting a professional videographer in Ochi for $500 for 5-6 hours I believe. This includes editing and setting the finished DVD to music

We don't have a ton of money to spend and I would like to look at other resorts if Half Moon is way too expensive. Any information would be very much appreciated! Thank you and I love love love this forum!!! You guys are they best! Hi We were originally getting married at Half Moon and for a wedding of that size you are looking at upwards of $20K-$30K depending upon what you want. We are now getting married in Ochi but the staff at Half Moon is very nice and was gracious enough to let us use our deposit that we paid for our Honeymoon there. We will be honeymooning at Half Moon for about a week. If you have the budget I would definitely recommend them. I have a lot of info they sent me as I was planning my original wedding there, so if you have any other questions feel free to ask
