  1. I am also a January 2009 bride and I actually sent out my invites with all of the travel information recently. I felt like it was kind of a waste to send travel info out now and then invites out 6 weeks before the wedding because by that time people have already decided if they are or are not going. We also have a website that we're posting any updates on and I also have info about the resort and cabo activities and other info on the website. I am trying to stay up on planning because I tend to be a procrastinator, I have my dress, MOH dress, I am convincing fiance to look for what he and BM are wearing because soon the summer clothing season will be over, believe it or not! I have ideas of how I want my hair, flowers, cake, etc. The TA is taking care of booking guest and relaying information to them about the travel end of it.
  2. Thank you for sharing this with us, I will definitely use parts of it, I really like the introduction part.
  3. I think it all depends upon the resort. We are planning to have the "semi-private" dinner that comes with our wedding package and we are expecting about the same amount of people as you are. They are not charging us extra for that. If we were to do the private dinner we would be charged per plate.
  4. I think they are cute. I especially like the palm tree bag. I would use them.
  5. I am putting together some information for our guests in a welcome brochure and when searching for Cabo emergency numbers I am getting a couple of different numbers. If anyone could tell me if these numbers are valid and correct that would be great. Cabo 9-1-1: 066, Police 52(624)143-0057 US Consulate 24 hr. 619-692-2154 or M-F 9-2 143-3566, calling Cabo from US dial 011 52 624 and phone #, calling from Cabo 001 area code and phone #. I would greatly appreciate any infor you have.
  6. If you are not looking to do a beach bag for your OOT bags this site offers very reasonable personalized bags to put gifts in for guests. Wedding Gift Bags Personalized for Out of Town Guests and Wedding Gifts
  7. Good for you! That is a great distance to run, one of my favorites.
  8. We have stayed at the Merengue and visited Bachata. They both are great, the greenery is so beautiful in DR and the beaches are very relaxing. We enjoyed the pool area at Bachata and felt there was a livlier crowd there. You will have a terrific time!
  9. Welcome to the forum, you will find some great ideas here!
  10. The best thing that you can do for your skin is get a fragrance free moisturizer and a good sunscreen, make sure that you are wearing sunscreen every day. The incidental sun exposure that happens every day is much worse for your skin than laying in the sun for 5 days straight. One other tip is that if your skin is a flaky dry that is a sign that you need exfoliation, if you don't remove those dead dry skin cells on the surface, the flaky skin and oil can combine to clog your pores and that causes breakout. If your skin is tight dry that means that you are actually lacking hydration in the skin and your skin would benefit from additional moisture.
  11. Morgan, Those look absolutely fabulous. I was wondering where you got the maps for the welcome bag brochures?
  12. We used weddingtracker.com, they have some great templates and the price is very reasonable, with theknot.com discount it was $30 for a year.
