Well I am happy with the evictions! I love how Julie pointed out the fact that Ollie did the same sort of thing in week one, as what Dan did to him this week. I never actually thought about that, but it is so true.

There are a bunch of sites that you can get these books off. Shutterfly, Snapfish, MyPublisher, Walmart, Costco etc... They are called digital books I believe and you can search around to see the different prices and styles that you would like. Hope this helps!

I am sure that the M&Ms would make the trip fine, especially since you are in Phoenix which is a lot closer to the caribbean temps then the good ol Alberta temps. Everytime I go somewhere tropical, we always get a cold streak up here. When I say cold, I mean, advisories for people to stay indoors, skin freezing in seconds... The last time we were in the Dominican, it was 35 celsius down there and -35 plus the windchill up here!!! That is a big temp difference which is why I decided not to get the M&Ms in the end!!!

You still have some time, but if you want these fans, I would suggest ordering them soon, as they tend to go quickly and then you can't order them for awhile until they get more stock. You can also watch some threads, as there are people that may have extra fans that are willing to sell them. That is actually how I got mine, from Kerry who wrote above!

Thanks for putting them all together. It is much nicer to look on one thread rather than several different ones.

We just wanted to have the wedding the end of Dec or beginning of Dec because of the cheaper prices, and the fact that it is cold here then, and warm down there. As for the actual date, it wasn't a big deal except that we wanted to get it over with as soon as we could after getting down there, so that everyone could relax and not worry about the wedding for the rest of their holiday. The date we ended up getting is actually my parents anniversary though, and a close co-worker of mine that is trying to get the time off still so she can come, it is her birthday.

I used to be really good at crunches but over the years of not doing them, I really suck now! Blah!!! Oh well, I will get back there soon. That is my goal.

That is so exciting Michelle. It is also scary to think that we are close enough now that everyone is startng their dress fittings! EEEKKKK!!!!

I got some nice necklaces and pendants off ebay actually and it cost me next to nothing. I don't think that I could justify spending that much on my bridal party and only having the one thing to give them!

For squats there is a machine at the gym I use. I sometimes use it since you can add more weight while doing rather than holding onto heavier dumb bells. It all depends on what part of my program I am on as to whether I use the machine or not.

I am glad to see the leg extensions on there. I have that as part of my workout routine when I am going to the gym, but I keep the weights light and try not to do it very often. My knees aren't the greatest to start with, so I don't like doing things that aggravate them, this has on occassion made me feel a slight twinge. I don't do the thigh machine either, as when I first joined the gym years ago (the first time) I was told that if you don't do that machince properly, it can make your hips wider, and that is the last time that I need to get wider!!! LMAO! The exercise program that I follow...somewhat when I go to the gym....is the Bob Greene workout. I actually like it. I think I will go get my membership started again on Mon...or maybe today!

That is so aweful! I am glad to hear that animal control was able to pick the dog up before some weirdo, but now for appropriate people to take the dog in and love it and care for it!!!

We had our legal ceremony on the 8th, which is also my birthday, and my little sister's birthday. A few days before, my sister went to get the mail and she started getting all excited about getting her first card in the mail for her birthday. I asked if I got on too, and she told me no, but then said 'yes, and there is a card for you and Larry too!'. I was a little confused about that, but when she gave it to me, it was adressed to Mr & Mrs G_____. It was a wedding card for our legal day, but it was weird seeing it written down. Even now, I don't know what to call him. That is why I keep referring to him on here as Larry rather than FI or DH. Although we are legally married now, our DW is what we are considering our wedding. It is almost like we are in limbo LMAO!!

I love the "man shower" thing. That is sooo great. Can't wait to see more pics.

So I was up late lastnight but I got a bunch of stuff done on the welcome books. I printed off all the pages I could, since some of them I will need to wait to know the final count. I cut out the pages and some of the cardstock that I am making the books out of. Larry's mom has finally decided to book too, and will be dropping by later to give me her deposit. We have 2 guests that swtiched Airlines do to their schedules, and if we don't find someone to fill their spots, they lose their deposits. The TA won't transfer the deposits to the other 2, so I am passing the $ on for it.

On the news tonight it showed Haiti and the Dominican. They have had a lot of rain recently between Fay and now Gustav. There have been a bunch of landslides in the Dominican causing a lot of damage, and so far there are 22 dead on the island of Hispaniola with this storm. I am glad to hear that it has at least been down graded now! Hopefully things don't get worse. Oh yeah, they said the storm is now heading for the New Orlean's area.

I also think that you should just go with either your second choice for a ring, or another on that you find you love. There is no reason you still can't keep and wear the original ring. Honestly, my original e-ring was a fill in until we could afford the actual ring. The fill in one has 3 peridot stones since they are my birthstone (they are actually a nice colour too, since so often they aren't that great!). Once I got the other ring, I took the birthstone ring off my left hand and started wearing it on my right hand sometimes. Although it isn't the same situation, it has similarities as far as changing from one ring to another.

Well I knew that the past 2 weeks I wasn't doing well but I didn't realize just how bad it was until earlier today. It seems so much worse too since I wasn't in town to weigh myself, but I think I am almost back to my original starting weight!!! Aaaggggghhhhh!!!! Well, BL4 here I come. I will be back at the gym then too, so that will help. So much for my awesome week a few weeks back

You need to remember that it is your wedding and everyone isn't going to make it no mater what resort and what the cost is. You need to decide what is more important to you, the location and setting of your wedding, the place you really want, or the number of guests you have. If you let people you really want there know the approximate price, they still have a lot of time to save to go.

I hope you get things figured out. I am not much help as our package includes airfare, hotel and transfers all in one price.

I haven't done the helicopter tour down there, but I did see them going a few times last time we were down there. If he really likes helicopters, that would be an awesome idea.

It is Wed. I will have to make sure I watch Craig Ferguson tonight to see if they have the BBHG on tonight. I missed last week since I was camping, but the couple weeks before that, he had Julie Chen come on and they talked to the HG.
