Here are the pics of my fondant seashells that I made last week. Notice the marks my daughter made on the female person, which I didn't notice until after they were dry? I actually think these may have got tossed, as she also knocked the arm of the guy and the girls head wasn't on very good.

In case you didn't notice, I changed my username! I was thinking about it for awhile, and finally did it.

My wedding is 3 months from today!!! Ahhhhh!!!! I better get cracking, tomorrow is going to seem really scary seeing the 2 month mark under my name for the first time rather than just seeing it under everyone else's names LOL. Hey there. Just thought that I would point out that I changed my username from ethrondson to EricaG. I have been thinking about this for awhile and finally decided to do it. So I am still here, and I haven't changed, only my username, LOL!

Danielle - I forgot to answer your question about when I was handing out the welcome books. So far everyone but 2 people will be going down together on one flight, and the other 2 will be down there the next day. With that said, we will just hand them out down there. If other people do end up booking and flying down 2 days before, then we will give them their stuff ahead of time. I am just going to put the welcome books in the OOT bags. I got more done on them lastnight, but I am still waiting to find out whether anyone else is going to make it, or not before I finish off the rest of the stuff!

Morgan & Becks - I see the starfish was supposed to make it to others as well, did it ever get there? Or will I be bride number 3? I am sooo excited about the starfish, I totally didn't know about this thread until after I started my own about the starfish!

I don't see any orange in your hair either Celena. Your invites look great too! As for a hair style, well I have been having a hard time with this. I have really curly hair (you can see it good in the one BD pic) and I have lots of hair. I don't want my hair all pulled back and tucked, pinned, twisted and whatever else. I finally have learned to live with my curls instead of hate them, so I want to have my curls for the wedding. I also don't want my hair all down either, as it id hot in the Dominican, and I don't want to have a sweaty neck and upper back. If I keep playing with my hair to cool off my neck (which I will) my hair will just get frizzy by the end of the night. We have played with it a bit, and I was hoping for a half up half down, but I'm not sure yet. I also have a tiara, and I don't want my hair pulled tight at the top, as I think it will look way better if I have some looser hair for it to sit on! KWIM?

This will definately be an interesting week.

I will be taking part of this group too. I believe I will be getting the starfish from Becks who got it from Morgan. I am so glad to be carrying on a tradition, and hopefully we can make this starfish have a longer lifespan than most of the others!!!

I would really like to purchase a starfish bouquet jewel for my DW. I was wondering if there is anyone that has one for sale or if you can recommend a good place to buy them from. I have seen several pics of people with them in their bouquets and I REALLY wants to get one. I have 3 months left, so I guess I better get on it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think my MOH and my sister who is a BM are doing my bachlorette party, although if we go to the bar, my sis isn't old enough yet, so she will have to stay behind for that part. They are picking up the bill for that and my Mom will probably help them out too.

How far away is he from home? Does he have a lot of relatives there to visit? As for him not getting it, I think it is a common thing for a lot of males to not realize that we care and they need to call us sometimes and let us know if there are changes in the plans! Do you have to work tomorrow? Maybe you should have a nice warm drink of something uncaffinated and head to bed for the night. Then tomorrow will be here before you know it, make his return home even sooner. Try counting the sheep.

That totally sucks. I missed the thread about your dress, but the fact that neither dress can be fixed at all? That cost should be coming out of her pocket. You don't have someone pay you to fix something for them, and then completely wreck it and expect not to pay for the damages!!! Go BRIDEZILLA on her ass!!!!

How crafty are you and how DIY are you willing to get? I wanted the pocket fold but couldn't find any in the colour I wanted, so I made them myself out 12X12 cardstock. I cut them out, folded them, and glued the pockets. Here is the thread they are on http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t20051

Sorry for the slow reply here, but I didn't have my stuff with me, and then it didn't pop up again and I forgot about it!!! Here are all the measurements for making the invites: Folder Cut from 12X12 cardstock Cutting A - Take your 12X12 sheet and measure 7" down the left side and cut across the paper 8 3/4". B - Measure 1/4" in on the right side at the top, and cut down for 7". Then cut across to remove this piece from the 12X12 cardstock C - 9 1/2" down the right side, cut across 5". D - Cut up to the inital cut made in A Folding E - Measure in 2 3/4" from the left side and fold F - Measure 7 3/4" from left side and fold. This should line up with the end of the initial cut made in A. G - Measure 1/4" on either side of the bottom flap and fold them inwards. The right side one should cause a straight edge down the right side of the invite since the upper piece has been removed. H - Fold the cardstock aligning with the initial cut in A and the finishing cut in B to remove that piece. Now glue the side flaps folded in to the back of the folder, creating a pocket. Now the folder is complete and ready for the invitation to be added, and the inserts. Inserts I used 5 inserts but you can adjust the length of them if you need more or less. Cut all inserts 3 1/2" across Length: "Prices" - 6 3/4" "Booking Info" - 6" "Resort Map" - 5 1/4" "Please Reply" - 4 1/2" "Reception" - 3 3/4" For the band around the outside, I used velum and cut it across length wise. It doesn't quite fit around the whole folder, but the monogram covers the area not covered by the velum. I hope this helps and is not too confusing for anyone that is wanting to do this.
