As soon as they realize they are in the wrong place, they have left...so far! On Fri FI had the kids out in the van and I was just grabbing a few more things before heading to the city for the weekend, when a guy came and knocked on the door that was slightly ajar and then walked in. I came around the corner and he asked if so-and-so was here. I said he had the wrong place and he left apologizing.
There have also been a couple times that there have been drunks that stumble into our apt complex and get mixed up about who lives where and come knocking on our door. 7-11 is right behind our complex, and it is a popular stop after the bar for munchies, so it isn't uncommon for drunks to pass through around here. Nothing like getting a knock on the door at 3am from a drunk that will not leave because they know that so-and-so lives here and they need a place to crash. Um, no!!! Okay, that would totally freak me out.
