When he took it off to show me, he had the exact same design tattooed on his ring finger. He's a surgeon, so I guess when he operates, or when its not appropriate for him to wear jewellery, he takes it off, and still has the sentiment of his wedding ring, but in tattoo form! I mentioned it to my fiance, and he thought it was pretty cool. He's not a surgeon, but liked the idea! Anyone else know of anyone with tattooed rings?? I don't know anyone with it...but, that is something that I am going to do and trying to talk him in to it. He's not a tattoo type of person so not sure if I can get him to go through with it, but I will!

  4. The storms definitely woke me up. I'm at 121 and Custer (McKinney/Frisco area) and it was just thunderstorming really bad and I thought the hail was going to break one of my bedroom windows. But a friend of mine that lives in Carrollton had tons of trees down. So I guess we were lucky. Thank goodness.

I have no idea what I am going to do for the big day. From what I heard I would definitely like to go with the mineral powder thing. So I guess I better start looking for the bare essentials and see if that works!!

So now the research is on. Just another thing to add to the list!!
  13. I am loving the fact that I found this website. Cause I hadn't thought about my hair yet. Does anyone have any pictures of hairstyles of people with curly hair that would be good for a beach wedding? I have attached a couple of recent pics to get an idea (I'm the black girl)! Thanks
  14. I hadn't even thought about how I would wear my hair or how the weather may effect it! So now I have some thinking to do. But, I normally wear my hear curly (no relaxer). So I guess I need to find hairstyles for curly hair.

    Hi Everyone

My name is Yvonne and we are getting married either March 7th or 14 of '09 in Jamaica (as of right now that's what we are thinking). We are wanting to get a Villa. We thought this would be a little cheaper than doing it at a resort and that way the families can get to know one another. At this point I have only found two that I liked (we need a separate guest house for us since our wedding night will be the first time we did the deed) and they are both in Jamaica. Anyway, I am glad that I found this site as I think it will be very helpful in the planning process.
