  4. :welcome to the forum! You will gather load of information on the forum!
  5. I have a couple questions as I am trying to make sure this is the resort I'm going to choose (torn between this one and another). Does anyone have menus options for a dinner reception choices? Do you know what the Hors D'ouvres Options are? How much is it to upgrade for horse and carriage? Did anyone actually use the resort photog and if so do you have pix to share? Do or did you choose to use the free cake and if so how many tiers and what did it taste like? I've tried searching threads and I can't find the answers. And there doesn't seem to be that many brides getting married at this location which maybe why I can't find the answers too! Thanks so much ladies!

But we are having an at home reception also so people knew if they couldn't afford it they could still celebrate with us when we got back. So, I wouldn't feel bad about it. We haven't had anyone that has booked at another hotel though so I guess I don't have to worry about it. I agree. We are looking at this as a vacation as well since our families are spread across the country. Also, we only really want our immediate families to join us (and I know they will want to stay at the same resort) and only inviting other people due to other obligations. So, if anyone outside of the immediate family actually comes and can afford it then they can pay for the day pass. Hopefully that doesn't sound too rude!
  8. I have three. My first one was done after I divorced my ex-husband (friends took me out for a liberation thing)! It is two roses intertwined together (very small the size of a quarter). Then I got two more for my birthday last year. I looked up my son's name in Chinese on the internet and got that done in small lettering under my hairline on the back of my neck. So unless you are really close up and I'm wearing my hair in a bun you can't see it. Then the last is butterfly on my lower back (but kinda high up).
  9. First off let me start off saying that it was not my idea to watch this movie as I am like war, horror, and action flicks. While the future hubby is into the movies that most women like (he was the one to suggest we watch The Notebook)! Which is funny in itself! Anyway, I had seen the previews and figured I would give it a try since he kept talking about. After watching it I feel as if I should have stuck to my guns. The previews were the best part and I thought it was one of the worse movies I have seen. I don't usually put movies down so much. But, honestly I asked at least three times if we could stop watching it. Just wondering what others thought of this particular movie?

Guess I should make that drive!
  11. I can only think that maybe it happened to make it cheaper if they are sharing a room. However, I wouldn't think that the person would actually attend the wedding! That would be preposterous!
  12. Didn't read any of the other responses. But her are my thoughts. Being friendly with her and him hanging out with her by himself is two different things. I say be nice when you see her (since you guys can't help it). But, no to anything else.

That is a really good idea. I will have to do that myself!

Balcony with a hottub! Sounds nice and definitely worth it!
  15. The only way I would buy it is if I were doing a TTD photo shoot! Sorry.
  16. Hi ladies...is there anyone out there that has been married or visited the Dominican Republic in the Sping (April, May, or first week in June)? We are still trying to narrow down when we are getting married and this will definitely play in with the decision process! Your input is much appreciated!
  17. Has anyone gotten married in the Dominican Republic in Spring (April, May or June)?
