Hi Rachel! to the forum! I'm a DR Bride to be as well! Happy planning.
  9. GM Ladies! This is my fourth day. I have decided to take Friday's off from working out and I feel great this morning. I made my banana shake and took the advice of Dez921714 to add cinnamon. It made it tolerable being that I don't like milk! I tried two bags of the yogi tea instead of one and nothing at all happened. I think I need to call my doctor and get checked out again. It can't be normal to only go once or twice a week. Especially when I am using every aid available to me and the only result is having gas all day! Which is not fun. This morning I realized that I am support to start my cycle either today or tomorrow (not on bc and have to count my days). So that's most likely the reason for me being bloated. Crossing my fingers that when I get on the scale Tuesday it will show a loss. Is anyone going to try and continue the diet after they come off next week? I'm thinking I will do most of it but add chicken or turkey to the soup, along with eating melons and grapes for my fruit.

I can see it now someone googles "taking a crap" and up comes my picture with the details hahaha You and Sandra will be starting the same day and can help each other. But, we will still be on it too. So we can both empathize and give you both encouragment when/if needed!

I figure since it's tomatoes it should be okay. I just don't want to have to pick out the stewed tomatoes like I had to for this batch.

All I've ever said that I wanted was a DW on a beautiful beach with beautiful water, close friends and family. Well, the small 20 person crowd I imagined is now growing to more like 50. I really wanted to go back to Texas after the wedding for a reception where we could have a big party with all of our friends not at the wedding. And the reception is where I expected to really shell out the bucks, but with the DW guest list growing, it'll be almost just as expensive. So today i've been looking at places outside of Dallas in order to have some kind of feeling of being away. Kind of rustic elegant type places. Then after talking to my FMIL last night, she kind of put a damper on that worrying about people driving drunk the 45minute trip back to Dallas. So then I was talking to my FI and he suggested having bus shuttles back and forth, but that seems so frat party style to me. I don't know if I would want buses going to and from my wedding, you know? I know that planning a wedding isn't easy. But I really just need a little pick me up right now. Any suggestions? My suggestion would be is to invite ONLY the 2o people that you want to invite. All of the other people can just attend the AHR in Dallas. My FI and I only want to invite parents and siblings. However, my mom has already told a bunch of people and told me I need to send them STD's. Well, I am not. We wanted a small group to allow for us to pay for excursions for everyone. If we have more then we can't. Plus, it's my 2nd marriage and I don't even want to invite anyone at all. But, it's my FI's first, so I can't get out of that. Just do what you truly want to do. It is your day not anyone else's. Don't let them talk you into something you truly don't want. I feel you would regret it afterwards.
  13. Congratulations! You guys looked beautiful and very happy! The pics were great!

OMG Girls - I could cry They had ALL OF MY FAVORITE THINGS ON THE COUNTERS! Cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos with green chilli and CAKE - REAL STORE BOUGHT CAKE WITH ICING !! (For those of you that don't know - my biggest nemesis is store bought cake) - I didn't even look at it, but I saw the box and that was enough. I keep giving them my standard response, "I am getting married in 143 days. I have NO business looking at, smelling or standing by cinnamon rolls, cake and breakfast burritos"! One of the guys said he was proud of me and gave me props for staying strong. I just want to cry ...........BOO HOO WAAAAAAAAAHHHH!! I am going in that kitchen - armed with my soup and I am heading straight for the microwave and I'm not looking back. Wish me luck................ OMG...that is awful. You should be very proud of yourself for resisting. Stay strong. I know you can do it!

INGREDIENTS 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 cup white sugar 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 egg whites 1 cup banana, mashed 1/4 cup applesauce DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Add egg whites, bananas and applesauce; stir just until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean. Turn out onto wire rack and allow to cool before slicing. Writing this down now! I love banana bread! So I'm going to make this next week (doing the sacred heart diet right now). Can you buy the whole wheat flour at any store?
  20. Oh wow...that is a great idea! I will have to get one of those before we go on our honeymoon!

I can only have 910. I would be passed out somewhere! Okay...now back to the thread! I liked them as well. I will have to check to see if they are coming to this area. I would think so since Oklahoma isn't that far from Dallas.

I LOVE bananas so this day should go well for me BUT I can'twait for tomorrow's beef. I got the tea at Wal-mart. It was in the area with of course the tea's, coffee and hot chocolate. There are a ton of different kinds and brands in that little area. I'm also going to cut a few up and put them in the freezer. Last night we had frozen strawberry smoothies (frozen strawberries, milk and a little unsweetened juice), so tonight we'll have banana. If you do make a banana shake, add a little cinimon My mom used to do that when she was on WW years ago LOL So, TMI, but I haven't gone yet this morning...and when I got on the scale, I was down over 11 lbs. I'm so estatic, because there's a certain number that once I get to it, I usually go back up...and I was at the number yesterday....I've actually broken past it!!!!!! I think the more you have to lose the higher your loss is....like, FI and I have a LOT to lose, so our first week on this we'll lose more than someone who only has 10-20 lbs to lose. I think FI and I plan to finish this week, do the 2 days off thing and then go back to it (maybe with a few modifications) OMG...11lbs! That is awesome. Keep up the good work. I can't imagine how good you are feeling about yourself right now. Thanks for the hint about using the cinammon. Quote: Originally Posted by monicabrandon2008 That is so amazing!!!! But, since it's on the menu for tomorrow (it's my 3rd day) I guess I need to figure it out. For the ladies that work outside the home how did you go about drinking yours? In the morning before you left and then when you got home? Or did you also freeze it to bring it to work the next day? Just curious. Trying to get ideas!
