We're flying out with Nolitours/Air Transat. I've never used Nolitours, hopefully it will be a good experience They gave us a free upgrade (I think its free) to Club Class so we're already starting on the right foot!

I don't know when it hit you gals that this is real but it just finally hit me today when our flight times came in!! We have a real plane, with real departure times!! LOL Sorry, I'm just so excited now I wanted to share Yay!!! AND our plane has "club class", which we got a free upgrade into! This means we get an extra 20kg EACH in luggage, and 20kg each for our carry-ons. You guys have no idea how much I've been praying for this! LOL :smil e72:

All inclusive to me means just that...ALL inclusive. Food, drink, accomodation. To me it would mean that I should be able to leave my purse at home and not have to worry. I'm not sure about the U.S. but that's what an AI is to us Canadians. EVRYTHING is included. They warn us if there are any departure taxes because we don't expect to pay for anything.

aww don't worry. It really will! Focus on the good that's happening, make some adjustments for the bad and it WILL work out in the end. It may not be easy for a while but it will work out! You still have a job!

Hey, both FH and I were laid of 5 & 4 months before our wedding. If anybody can tell you things will still work out, I can. lol Don't stress about it, things will happen for the bad and things will happen for the good. More good than bad. Trust me. P.S. We both have jobs now and back on track

I agree with most posters above..if you've invited them to the wedding then you can invite them to everything else. Just like the actualy wedding, they can decide if they want to come. Kidd, my thoughts would be that if your daughter only wants her immediate family at her wedding and she's not having a party afterwards, then inviting people to a gift-giving event would not look cool. But then again, only you know how her friends will really feel about it.

hmm I don't know about lbs but we used the paper that was one step thicker than regular paper and NOT textured. The paper was .99 CAD pre sheet if that helps.

Hi all, Here's the deal.....my mom and I aren't really girly girls and so we came to an agreement that we weren't going to have a shower, and we're happy with this. What she offered me, was to give me the money she would have spent organizing it, plus the cash value for all the gifts I would have received. So duh, yeah I took it! lol FMIL and family are insisting on throwing me a shower even though I don't want one and told them about the deal I struck with my mom. I'm ok with it though, they're going to keep it small and intimate, and it would be kinda fun. Here's my dilema.....what are my responsibilities for a shower I'm not involved with? Do I have to get little thank you gifts for people there. Do I have to do anything at all I don't know what to do.
