Wow! If I didn't know they weren't pro pics, I would have thought they were. They came out so great!! I think my favorite one is the one of the two of you with the sun rays on each side of you guys. . . but all of them are awesome!

mmmmm...red velvet cake..... sorry, got distracted LOL FI has talked about doing NS, I don't think it'd work for him, mostly because he's so used to eating more than 1 "serving" and he'd constantly be hungry...

Now I want to do these! FI is going to kill me!!!!! I actually just emailed my sisters best friend and she said I can borrow her sewing machine (he'd REALLY kill me if I went out and bought a sweing machine to do it!)

Do a search. Betsy got married in April and posted her pics. SharlaScott got married a few weeks ago and posted her pics and there are others. I know SharlaScott and Betsy both used the resorts photogs. There's also a Moon Palace tread with a TON of pics

Also, we have people coming for as few as three nights and as many as 8...they are making it their vacations

First, if you are asking for everyone's opinions on things...DON'T! Sit down with FI and figure out what's more important to you and who are the most imporant people you want there! For us it was our parents, so when we picked a date, we took into consideration that both his mom and my mom are in the school system. Even though they said not to worry and pic a date we want, we went with a 3 day weekend for them. We also picked a location that we love and a reasort chain we love, so when we talk to people about it we get them excited. Also, I sent a letter otu with our STD's that basically said there are other hotels around if YOU want to find it (I'm not looking up hotels for people) and that if you stay somewhere else, we'll cover your day pass ONLY for the day of the wedding, so make sure the price difference is worth it. I live in the NYC area and I can tell you that having a destination wedding is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than getting married here (we were planning a wedding here before I got laid off and we changed our plans). Also, the second someone complains about the cost, I look and them and say "It's ok if you can't afford to come, we really do understand". and it helps shut them up.

We are going to check it. It'll be split between us and one very close friend and my parents who are both coming down the next day. We figured we'll be able to get everything down there that way...that is, if I don't buy too much :-D

Amarillis - I love the dresses and necklaces!!!!! Neen - we are date twins!!! This week I... -got in the crystals for my BM necklaces and earings and put the necklaces togheter...OMG! - started on my luggage tags (I'm sending 2 to each person booked 2 weeks before we leave). - got the iron on transfers for my OOT bags and did one of each design to see how they look Even if I have 1 of each thing done (OOT bag and luggage tag) I feel less overwhelmed. Next week we are going to look at a suit for FI and pants for GM. Oh, and my mom picked up my headpiece. Not a tiara, none looked good on me and when we were getting her dress, they had a comb that caught my eye. I said that we'd come back during the week and if they still had it, it'd be meant...and they did! So she picked it up yesterday...and it was half off!!!!

The boat is open to other people unless you charter it, but that would mean guaranteeing them 60 people I think. It still looked like fun.

I agree that you should give your guests something. They are spending a lot of money to come see you get married (when's your wedding?) My FI has the same attitude as yours...apparently I was talking about OOT bags one night, in my sleep and he started a fight with me about it...even though, in my sleep, I was telling him that I am asleep. It was kind of comical, but still annoying. Dollar tree has become my best friend LOL I got my totes on cheaptotes.com and paid .98 for them...iron on transfers were about $1 each...and a bunch of other things (most from the dollar tree). When it gets closer and we have a better count, we plan to put some slightly more expensive things (sarangs for ladies, bucket hats for me and maybe a tee shirt each...also, still on the fence about mugs) but that's if we have the funds...
