  1. How awesome!! Good luck!!! I can't wait to hear in 2 weeks!!!!
  2. I did see broken down palace and it made me paranoid!! I think that's why this show on Nat. Geo is bugging me...but, as everyone said it's not really innocent people...so maybe I'll check it out. I was just afraid I might start picturing my aunt Mary all locked up in a jail in cancun LOL

How long were you on it before you got sick?
  4. Ok, so FI and I watch National Geographic a lot. I've been seeing commercials for this new show they have, it's called "Locked Up Abroad". It's a whole show dedicated to people who get locked up in other countries. They even say that it may keep you from traveling. NOT a show I plan to watch - EVER!
  5. Ditto to what Rachel said...it's just got a red x in it where the pic goes Glad you had a happy fathers day
  6. the shrinker thingy is a vacuum...so you could ask house cleaning...or a lot of air mattresses with pumps also have a "suck out" option to deflate the bed...that would totally work and be small enough to take with you!

I think I've had 3 bowls today (hey, they say eat as much as you want, the more you eat the more you lose, plus, it's ALL veggies!). I'm definately making another pot tonight (there are two of us eating it and it goes fast, especially when you like eating it). I'm thinking since tomorrow is veggies and soup and then its fruit, veggies and soup...I might add some frozen spinach it it or some other kind of leafy green veggies. So I will not only have you guys for inspiration, but her as well. Can't wait to make it tonight! That's awesome! It'll help when the cookie dish is out at work! I have FI doing it with me, but I don't know how long he is going to last...he got home from work and was like "I'm hungry" but he didn't feel like soup again and is all fruited out LOL Even if he makes it two or 3 days, it'll be really good for him Quote: Originally Posted by monicabrandon2008 Awesome!!! My FI isn't doing it but he said he would eat the soup for dinner LOL thank god cause there is no way I could cook a yummy meal for him and me not be able to eat it. That's too cute! Way to be supportive!! It helps that the soups actually good. My sister just invited us over for eggplant parm tonight LOL I tactifully turned her down. No one except FI and I (and EVERYONE who reads this board LOL) knows that we are doing this...I'm like that with diets, that way, if I fail, I don't have to explain it to everyone.
  8. I've felt hungry too...but I work from home, so I just went upstairs and heated up more soup I don't even heat it up hot (too hot out) I nuke it for 1 min just to get the chill out (sensitive teeth) and it's perfect for me
  9. I hadn't hear from anyone all day, so I wondered if anyone actually started For those of you starting tomorrow...it's not so bad (the first day anyway lol). Yeah, I was reading the thread on Sonic and I had to get off it...It was making me want really really bad things. So far today I've had some watermelon, soup, peach, nectarine, soup...oh, and some water
  10. I can't believe I missed these pics the other day! Congratulations!!! You guys look adorable and soooo happy!!!!!!!

  13. I think I have to have FI wash my hair for me tonight....I don't know if I can do it with just one hand LOL
  14. I'm still stuck on the redneck seafood platter LOL
  15. FI called me before, he ate the soup and really liked it! He also ate all the fruit I sent him to work with and went to 711 and got a huneydew/cantalope/grape bowl. He says he's not hungry whatsoever (which is great, because he has a HUGE appetite). When he gets home we're going to stratagize tonight and tomorrow and go grocery shopping. I know I have frozen strawberries and skim milk was on the ok to drink list, so maybe we'll have fruit smoothies tonight as "desert"
  16. Abbie Glad you had fun at your shower (minus the nervous part). That cake is adorable and it's really cute that you're saving the palm trees and chairs to use in cabo
  17. Ever see those really neat BBQ Spatulas....they're serraged on the side. Well, my parents went to AC a few weeks ago, and brought back a really nice BBQ set an gave it to us...it has one of those nifty spatulas. Well, we had a BBQ Saturday...While trying to seperate frozen burgers using the spatula, it slipped...remember that serrated side I mentioned...well, I won't be graphic, but you can image what it did to my thumb. I probably needed stitches, but a) I don't have health insurance and it woulda ruined/ended the bbq. So FI and I cleaned it out with peroxide and applied bandaids in an X to make a "butterfly". I never realized just how much I use my left thumb. My point is...be REALLY careful with those spatulas!!! They are sharp and dangerous!!!!!!
