  2. Oh, so have any of you ever seen that show "you are what you eat". It's on BBC I think. Well, the woman ALWAYS takes a poo sample and talks about the "smell" of it and how it's because of all the junk the people eat. And it's actually supposed to have little to no smell. This is kinda gross, but I wonder if anyone has noticed that their poo doesn't smell as bad? LOL

The first time I used two tea bags it hit me pretty hard and I was in the bathroom a lot. Maybe I didn't notice how much I went to the bathroom yesterday because I was home. But I was amazed at how much stuff I had in me, yuck! Congrats Monica on the weight loss! I had two steak tips for my breakfast/lunch and a can of diced tomatoes. The beef was SO good! I made plenty of beef, so I can have some in a little bit with my soup for dinner. I'm really craving something sweet, two days in a row we're going to not be able to have fruit, I might go insane, I love my sweets! It's funny...FI and I were both up today by 2-3 lbs. He was nice enough to pick me up an iced coffee on his way home...that may have taken care of it for me LOL For the sweet craving...how about an unsweetened juice? I've found it really really helped me. I didn't even need to drink a lot of it, but it took the craving away. I have two nice london broils in the fridge. Making one tonight with some onions on the side and fire roasted tomatoes FI said the burger waiting for him when he got home was the best burger he's had LOL It's amazing how much that one burger filled me up before I like that because it means my stomach has shrunk a little
  4. OMG LOL I was thinking the same thing as Rachel... Was she sueing because she bought butt floss? LOL
  5. I love your pics! You look beautiful! Thanks for such a detailed review. I'm sure many deciding brides will find it super helpful!!
  6. MENU ATTACHED!!!! Ok, I know a buch of us wanted the menues for private functions. Karina just sent me this. They had it in some fancy font and it was really hard to read, so I changed the font and tried to fix the formatting a bit...it's a little confusing....but... We are planning to have a sit down dinner reception... "I have attached the menus we offer for our functions to this e-mail. This does not need to be decided right away actually the final decisions are made at the resort directly." It's like 40+ pages.... Private Function Menu[1].doc

The worst part - we are going to the movies afterwards - the smell of popcorn is going to KILL ME! hang in there! You can do it...FI and I went out for dinner on night #2, and we still lost We've actually talked about going to the movies tonight also...which is strange because we never go to the movies...and now that we can't eat teh junk, FI wants to go...figures LOL
  10. Also, I wonder if it's you being sick or the diet...because I really don't have much of an appetite either...I basically had to force myself to eat the bananas and soup yesterday.

Well I must say that I have no appetite. I don't know what is wrong, but I have been drinking water all day and I have no appetite to eat anything at all. Tomorrow is my bananna day - did you guys eat JUST banannas or other fruit too? Did you eat any vegetables? The diet didn't really say. I looked on line and all it said was banannas & skim milk. I wonder if dried banannas are included. I'd have to look at the package to see if they contain anything else. I think the dried have sugar on them, no? Oh, maybe that's why I thought no artificial sweetner...the diet is also a detox Yesterday we just had banana's, skim milk, and soup. I think FI had the left overs from dinner the night before (all veggies). I didn't like banana day LOL I ended up bloated, gassy and gained a few lbs LOL (I wonder if my soon to arrive monthly visitor has anything to do with that...) So, I overcooked my burger making it a bit dry. It was still good...but not half as good as it would have been on a bun with a slice of cheese and Katchup!
  12. I got a burger in the toaster oven on broil and OMG I can't wait to eat it!

Yea, my MIL is making us have our recption 2 days after we get back from Cancun because some of her family is going to be in Buffalo. Sucks that we can't do the slideshow, but maybe if we get the DVD, we can have that playing in the background (another great idea.. thank you!). I have to talk my FI into it though! I don't think he wants to spend anymore money there! LOL! I am going to display a picture album and picture frames of our ceremony. One problem.. my family is very Catholic and we were supposed to have a Catholic ceremony at Moon Palace, but it got all screwed up because the priest will only marry people on Saturdays and you have to be there 3 working days before you can marry at all (Mon-Sat). We are arriving on a Thursday, so we have to have the civil ceremony instead. I am worried that if we show the DVD that my Aunts and Uncles will see that we weren't married by a priest and get all pissy. Silly to have to worry about that stuff, but I do. They are so religious. I don't see why they care anyway because we are getting married by our priest in Buffalo when we get back. UGH!! Sorry so long!! If you have any other ideas for displaying pics, let me know! Thanks again! Melissa Maybe if it's possible, have your family priest at your AHR to "bless" yoru marriage. Explain to family that "due to circumstances beyond your control" you weren't able to secure a catholic ceremony in Cancun, so you're doing this instead...would that work?

Upload your pics there, you can also resize them for a message board and then post the IMG link Hope that helps

ARGh. We are def doing the slideshow of us while and the pictures through our relationship and then that leading to a slideshow of the wedding itsel all with music. And then we are going to have the dvd of the actual ceremony play so people who werent there can watch. We are having a small group come so it would be good that everyone can feel like they were there. Ive decided to do a sand ceremony so we are gonna have the jar displayed also. Our favors for the 2 receptions are mojito kits that i made up. It has a mojito glass, an airplane size bottle of bacardi and fake ice wrapped in tool and tied with a mint leaf and ribbon i love them! So thats my plan for my reception(s). We will fortunately have time to do the slideshow ourselves when we get back. Im planning the LI reception mid feb and the Rochester one at the end of March bc of the weather it could still be snowing there! Knowing Rochester, it might be snowing there in March too...lol I love your favor idea! Is a mojito mexican? Can you post a pic?
  18. As a side note...the beach at the MP is a bit seaweedy...but on the day after the wedding we're planning a trip to the Cancun Palace. They have the AMAZING crystal blue water Cancun is known for. I think the resort does shuttles between each other every 4 hours or so. And since it's a palace resort, we can eat and drink there too
  19. Hi and Welcome! When FI and I first decided on a DW, we were looking at both Dreams Cancun and the Moon Palcae. We decided to go with the Moon Palace because we've stayed at the palace resorts before. Guests who stay at one, can go play at any of the others and all of their meals and drinks are included. Also, guests who stay 3 or more nights will be allowed on certain excursions at not additional cost (Tulum, Chiten Itza, Coba). We are getting married in Jan 2009, our guests are paying $422 per night and that includes ALL food, beverages (including liquor), taxes, gratuities and like I mentioned before excursions if they stay three or more nights. Let me know if you have any questions Good luck! Happy planning!!
  20. Jenny, It's beautiful! I can't wait to see pics of you in it!!
  21. I can't imagine having a baby now...let alone at 17!
