I hope im not getting screwed. Im thinking i should have booked directly with MP As long as you have a contract through them, then I'm sure you get the same things. If you have 10 rooms booked for 3 or more nights each, you'll get a free coctail hour. Also, anyone staying at teh MP for 3 or more nights is entitled to free excursions. If you go to their website, then go to tours, pick cancun and included tours you can see a list of them and their descriptions. I think swim with the dolphis is promotional though...

UGH - then last night FI brought home Pizza - PIZZA - for christsake - for dinner. I pass on it. Then he lovingly eats a Klondike bar and my daughter eats a piece of cheesecake for dessert. I was like WHATEVER to both of you for trying to sabotage me! I ate my caneloupe, honeydew and nectarine and kept on smiling! FI was proud of me for holding steady. He said he might do it if it works for me. Dez, that salad sounds YUMMY! I made the mistake of not weighing myself yesterday, but I did this morning. I went to the store yesterday and picked up some Mrs. Dash - I already use the Garlic & Herb, but I picked up the Extra Spicy. They are all natural and dont contain any salt or MSG. I added them to my soup and it was yummy! I felt really tired yesterday. This morning I feel better. I didn't have that ache in my gut when I woke up (that I usually get when I eat processed foods) - sorry if TMI. I can't wait for that baked potato for dinner! I havent' had any stopped-up feelings. I've been going more than usual but not a LOT - I did count that I went to the bathroom to pee 8 times yesterday. Good luck today ladies! xoxoxo ~ Celina Celina - You're doing great! Hang in there. My dad always used to do stuff like that to my mom when she was dieting. I don't even think he'd do it intentionally...that, or his timing on buying her favorite ice cream was really bad! The soup made me pee a lot too!!!! It'd really really help if FI was doing it with you, just makes it a little eaier. Every fast food commercial that was on TV last night, FI was like "Mmmmm, I want that, I want that" LOL I asked him if he was making a list of the things he wants to eat Monday when this is over LOL he made me proud and was like "no, I want to eat healthy those two days" I'm off to the store to pick up a few things I need for my THIRD pot of soup this week...

I want to get married in the Chapel Gazebo but i've noticed a few people have said that they were allocated a gazebo and didnt get to choose. Will I be able to request the Chapel Gazebo? I really love the look of it in the pics i've seen, i would'nt want to get married anywhere else!!! Thanks for all your help ladies, i really feel like i have control of things because of this awesome site!! xx I asked Karina in FL this same exact question. She said that they normally assign you one, but if I there's one I really like to let her know and she can request it for me with the people in Mexico. Again, no guarantee, but a better chance of getting it.

I only had that issue once, on the second day...now I'm fine I'm a super regular person, if I feel "stopped up" I usually just drink some coffee and it does the trick...FI was B*tchin the second day that he was going for the 11th time...but he's a big baby and was probably exaggerating LOL Quote: Originally Posted by monicabrandon2008 Where do you get this yogi tea, I want some I had a banana and skim milk this morning. I'm also going to cut a few up and put them in the freezer. Last night we had frozen strawberry smoothies (frozen strawberries, milk and a little unsweetened juice), so tonight we'll have banana. If you do make a banana shake, add a little cinimon My mom used to do that when she was on WW years ago LOL So, TMI, but I haven't gone yet this morning...and when I got on the scale, I was down over 11 lbs. I'm so estatic, because there's a certain number that once I get to it, I usually go back up...and I was at the number yesterday....I've actually broken past it!!!!!! I think the more you have to lose the higher your loss is....like, FI and I have a LOT to lose, so our first week on this we'll lose more than someone who only has 10-20 lbs to lose. I think FI and I plan to finish this week, do the 2 days off thing and then go back to it (maybe with a few modifications)

LNT & BB&B accept their own cupons and each others cupons even if they're expired... The exception is the 20% off ENTIRE order, then they still accept it, but it can't be expired. Oh, also, at BB&B you can use a cupon for each item you're buying...so hold onto them (I've used 10 at one time lol)

Also, I in my room contract, if your people book 3 nights or more they get activities (dolphins, pyramids etc)..which is a really good thing for our guests. Anyway, just curious how much you guys are paying through your TA for the rooms, I didn't get a TA for the rooms and I am paying 422 for double occupancy for April 2009. I got the same rate as you.

Help Me Brainstorm! Incorporating Baby in Wedding?
Dez921714 replied to Martha's topic in Random Thoughts
Yes, it's a little weird, but cute What if you and your husband lit a unity candle for him....you each have your own candle and the center one would be for "the life growing within you"...or something like that... -

I don't have enough power to look at them eat desert! When do you girls weigh yourselves? Morning or night? OMG I feel for you...that just sounds like torture. I guess that's the best part of FI doing it too...we're eating the same things Quote: Originally Posted by lauren c. where does it say that you can't have any sugar substitutes? i'm going to start sunday. We just finished dinner. I made grilled zucchini and grilled portobello mushrooms with onions. I also made a big salad with avacodo, grape tomatoes and hearts of palm. Put the soup in the blender added some steamed succhini and a can of spinach...wasn't bad, but not something I'd do again or recommend...it was very dark green LOL FI and I both agreed that that would be better in the winter. The spinach made it very harty.

I had some fruit salad this morning, an apple, and a bowl of soup for lunch. I'm so sick of peeing! I feel a little bloated as well and I think it's because (sorry if this is TMI) I couldn't go to the bathroom yesterday at all. Monday I had to go a lot, but yesterday I felt very bound up, which tends to happy to me when I'm dieting and not eating enough fiber. But I did lose about 3.5 lbs. so far, so at least thats good! I think I missed this before because we posted basically at the same time! Congrats on the 3.5!!!! I usually drink some coffee and it quickly takes care of that problem you were having They even suggest you eat some high fiber cereal (don't they?)...maybe add some brocoli (high fiber, but gassy) or other veggie tonight that's known for that....cabbage anyone?

Brides and their wedding dress!
Dez921714 replied to BePhoto's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Ok...I'm going to be the odd ball...I'm not going to say that I"ll be super up tight about my dress...I fully plan to take pics in the sand and stuff, but I have an AHR about two months after Mexico and I HAVE to wear the dress again. It's satin and I'm afraid the salt water will stain it. If it's just the bottom, that's fine and I do plan to have it cleaned before I wear it again. That being said, we are doing a TTD but I have been searching for a much cheaper dress to wear for that. In THAT dress, I'll do whatever the photog wants me to do I'm actually a bit disappointed that I can't do the TTD in my actual wedding dress -
FYB87 How you hanging in there today?

I'd guess it is....as long as you didn't add sugar...we are allowed as much coffee and skim milk as we want...

We can't afford to pay for the girls dresses even though I'd love to...but I did give each girl several chances to opt out of being in the wedding. I told that that I want them to be there and I want them to be in it, but if they can't afford it, we really do understand and if it came down to it, we'd rather them be there than not come because they can't afford to come and be in it.

It doesn't have any salt in it, so maybe that will help. I am in it or my FI will call me a quitter. He doesn't think I can last the whole week, but now it's my mission to prove him wrong! He knows I dont like soup - but I LOVE veggies - so that's my ace (or so I hope) We can keep going girls! You can do it...this is your first day, right? We're here for you!!! Soup ideas...I was reading online for some "tips". It mentioned blending it or half of it to create a different texture and the flavor will probably change a little cause all teh veggies are mushed up - which DreamsTulumBride did and liked it. I read about adding red peper...I do this to every bowl now and MonicaBrandon2008 has done it too I read to blend it and then add some skim milk to make a "cream of Vegie" soup...especially on the Milk day. To thicken it, it said to used some FF Powered Milk in addition to the regular skim milk....I haven't tried it, but it's suppsoed to be like a new soup - I'm planning to try it tomorrow.

Are the kids sharing a room with you? If so, maybe arrange 1 full day and night where they could stay with a family member. Then surprise him with an excursion for just the two of you. Or a couples massage....a nice dinner...and a room with a double jacuuzi and no kids for a night...... If the kids won't be in yoru room, I have to keep thinking lol

I say that because I usually eat spinach, broccoli, grilled chicken or turkey and sugar free peaches and sugar-free jello. Also, the only thing I drink is water (however, I do have oj and skim milk for my son in the fridge). I feel very tired and bloated (not that time of the month either). Not sure if it's because I'm working out everyday or not. Is anyone else working out everyday? I'm definitely still going to do it because I can't fit into any of my slacks for work and most of my skirts. Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow. BTW, this is Day Two for me! So I added spinach to my soup for today and brought spinach leaves. I don't know how I will eat the spinach leaves since we can't have dressing though!! I don't eat baked potatoes (haven't for years) and plan on eating grilled turkey breast (4oz) with my soup for dinner tonight. So hopefully, that doesn't really make a difference. FI said he felt bloated, but I figured it was because he's not used to eating THAT many veggies.... I'd say if you don't start feeling better by tomorrow, then to go off of it. You eat great to being with and your health isn't worth it. I walk, but it's not the same as intense work outs.

Last night as I was eating the last of the junk before my big "cleanse" I was thinking - dang, this must be what it feels lwhen you know you are going to rehab! LOL I'm in - I got a big container of soup, a big container of cantelope and honeydew and I'm ready to give it a try! Props to you Dez for containing yourself at Carrabas! I cancelled a dinner date on Saturday because I KNOW I don't have the will power - YET. In my early 20's I used to be on a mostly veggie and verry little chicken and seafood diet. I felt so good and really kept my weight down. This may be the direction I am going in again. We'll see what happens! Have a great day ladies! Congrats! You can do it!!! The un-bloated feeling is well worth it!! LOL, I have been known to be a bit of a nut Actually, I'm in NY, so it was 5:15 here FI get up for work between 4:30 & 5 (which means I hit snooze between 4:30 & 5 and then force him out of bed). Usually I go back to sleep, but I had a hard time this morning What you did in your early 20's sounds close to what I did in my early 20's. I lost 70lbs and felt great and looked great...then I met FI....gained 100 lbs from my lowest (LITERALLY!). With a few modifications and knowing that I can eat out and not destroy it probably means I can do this for longer than 1 week. I just weighed myself again and I'm down a total of 7lbs...even waited 15 min for the scale to reset like the manual says and weighed myself again...same thing
