Well girls I am totally fucked !! our airline has cancelled all flights to Mexico until the 8th!! We leave on the 11th and they won't tell us shit just keep saying "wait like the rest of the world!" helpful bastards!! - i'm furious so sorry for swearing lol I'm in a right stuck as FI and I have to marry before he goes to Afghanistan at the beginning of June. We can't get married here because we both in person have to go to the registry office to sign the paperwork then wait 15 days!! argggggggggggggg I'm hoping this ban gets lifted or at least they give us our cash back, which at the min they won't, so we can book antigua as it seems its the only place in the world that we can go and take the paperwork with us!!

Yep the Foreign Office has banned travel to Mexico unless its urgent! My holiday isn't through Thomsons but my flight is and at the min i'm waiting to hear if it's cancelled or not. I know Monarch airlines have cancelled all flights up until the 8th and Thomas Cook up until the 5th. I can't get any sense out of my TA about it and that is giving me NO time to re-arrange anything for 9 people. I can't change the date as FI has special persmission from the army to be off at this time and straight after we get back he is going to Afghanistan!! I swear i'm going to the registry office and having a bag of chips after!! I'm keeping an eye on it but my insurance company told me at the min they won't cover us if we fly and its in May or June! Great I leave on the 11th oh and they won't refund the deposit for the wedding!!

Oooo this sounds familiar! FI's step dad died and less than 6 weeks later FMIL moved a bloke into her house! I have to admit since that time I haven't really had anything to do with her because she turned into the most selfish person and put his bloke before everyone. FI got an MBE and this bloke got invited to the palace I was fuming, she has since married him and he is coming to the wedding but I really can't stand him and its made me hate my FMIL with a passion for what she has done to her son. My mum died 10 years ago and all I could think about was my dad wouldn't do that! He has just got married after 10 years on his own and I was furious at first but I never see him so it's not in my face and now i'm okish with it. I don't think you are being selfish it's not hard to understand why you don't want a stranger at your wedding that might not be around in 2 weeks lol Just explain how you feel if she doesn't get it tell her straight he isn't invited and won't be made welcome. You can't change how you feel and honestly your wedding isn't about your mother and her happiness its about yours

My FMIL's hubby has tats all over his hands and i'd love them not to show but I think that's because I can't stand the sight of him rather than I don't like tats lol I've got 3 and I love them and would be proud to have them show. Really tho if they are on her shoulder blades who will take a pic of her back!! if she had one in the centre of her forehead then I'd worry. You probably won't even notice trust me that will be the least of your worries nearer the time

Well I went out with 4 girls tonight one of whom I only met tonight but she's coming to the wedding lol (long story) and they bought me a present which was really nice but weird as we don't really do that over here lol Mind you they bought me a bright PINK thrusting rampant rabbit! lmao Then this lass asked if she could read a poem at my wedding wtf!!! she's quite hippy too says things like "I can feel the anger coming from that person" she said to me " I have all sorts of feelings coming from you" lmao I thought yeah and one is you are whack and FI is gonna hate you lmao

She had a massive operation for something totally unrelated and they checked it and said its just a fatty lump and it's big now - i wouldn't worry dogs get them all the time just sometimes you don't realise

I got my dress!! I mean how quick was that lol less than a week! Mind you she hasn't done everything i've asked her lol like the straps are still on! and it's still not that tight on the top so i'm going to have to get a mega push up bra as i've lost that much weight i've dropped a size or 2 lol This weekend will be nightmare lol
