  1. We had our reception dinner there and it was beautiful. We seen where they set up for the weddings and it is beautiful. Good luck with your planning.
  2. I was planning on wearing shoes on the sand and I had them on the whole way down the cobblestone walkway (which was tough in itself) but once I seen the beach and how far I had to walk, I kicked them off right then and there. Most weddings at hotels, you don't have that long of a walk on the sand and I see a lot of them have some type of runner down to make it a little easier. Good luck.
  3. What a beautiful couple!! I loved the colors of your bm dresses. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Morgan thanks for sharing your wedding video. I loved it. How hard is it to edit? I also have my video from our vow renewal and I would love to show it, but I don't think anyone would want to watch the vow renewal talking, lol. I also didn't know where to post it anyways. Can't wait to see your edit.
  5. I got my CD of edited photos from our Vow renewal in Cabo. Manuel Burgoin was our photographer. I will upload them later to shutterfly, but I wanted to post some of my favorites. Hope you don't get to bored. LOL
  6. What a great review!! I loved your dress and you are right, where your dinner was held looked like something you would see in a fairy tale with all of the sparkling lights. Thanks for sharing and congrats. Whenever I get a taste of Cilantro, it is spicy to me. It is in a lot of pico de gallo and salsa here in Tx.
  7. Such beautiful pics. You were a beautiful bride. The color of the BM dress really popped against the blue/green water. Thanks for sharing.
  8. How do you make a siggy using PHotoshop CS3? Any help would be appreciated. TIA

They have a lot of different stickers. Here are a few online sites that sell Palm Tree stickers: Crafts, Etc! ® - Palm Tree Stickers Here is another one-there are several pages to look at. Maybe you will find something here Tropical: Stickers Galore Hope this helps
  10. Congrats Kat!! You looked so happy. We were just in San Antonio last Sunday, and we did the riverboat ride, and we went right past "Marriage Island". That is so neat.

Send your prints along with a copy of your recepit via mail. After your order is placed, an email is automatically sent with mailing instructions. Mogan, I thought i saw somewhere on Mpix that you can make your books and use the metallic paper?? Maybe I was looking at something else there. It was at the bottom of the page of products. Let me know if this is one of those types of books. (sorry for sounding dumb)

I'll link you to some tutorials and give you some actions which should make things pop. Josh I would love some help. I have worked with some actions, not a whole lot. I am also taking an online course in Workflow for CS3 but really havn't been able to focus too much yet on it. Thanks so much

I asked him what they were printed on and he said metallic photo paper. He said he didn't think they had that in the states. I am so glad that you said yours are metallic print. I will have to go check that site out. How long did it take to get them? Were they expensive and what sizes did you order? Sorry for all of the questions.
  14. This is going to be interesting and hard. Six letters and no clue as to what pics to use for them. I can only think of one for the letter "s". Can the pics be from the internet??
  15. I wanted to thank everyone for their offers of help and opinions on this subject. I contacted my photographer right away, and we have been emailing back and forth. He stated that he always sends out the edited CD, he thinks that by mistake, he sent me the backup CD instead of the edited one. Well, I finally got the new one, well, not yet. DHL delivered it today, but no one was home to sign for it, so I should have it tomorrow!!
  16. What an awesome album. For you or anyone else that has used My Publisher, I noticed that there are 2 different styles of books: Deluxe hardcover and Classic hardcover and then in each of those, options: Linen or leather. Which ones did you choose and why? Also, did you load all of your photos onto your pc and then upload them or can it be done right from the high res CD? Thanks for any info.
  17. I will send you mine also. I am still waiting to get my CD with the pro pics on from the photographer.
  18. I am doing one with my girlfriend (who is a TA) plus a group she has going in Oct 2009 on the new Celebrity Equinox. It sounds like a lot of fun. I am still doing a lot of reading and such. A good website about cruises is cruisecritic.com Good luck with your planning
  19. For any BDW members that photoshop your photos, could you all help me with something? I am trying to edit some of my photos that are on my CD, I am trying to figure out how to make the colors "pop"? For example, in the album that I received with the edited photos (4x6), my dress/girls/guys shirts are very vivid and the photos on the CD are blah. I have some photoshop actions that I have used on some, but I still can get the clothes/water etc to pop. Does anyone have and tips or hints to help? TIA I really need to take a photoshop course
  20. Welcome back! A great review. We stayed at PB Rose and had our reception dinner at Sunset da Mona Lisa. We didn't like the food but the view is awesome. We got some good photographs there. Which PB are you going to stay at? Panchos had some great food also.
  21. Thanks so much everyone! I really appreciate the info. I so wish I still planning our ceremony. LOL Also, if I want to play around with the images on the CD, what should I save it as to keep the same quality image? When I click to save as, it asks how high-for example: an 11 as high or 1 as low?? Sorry for sounds stupid
  22. I sent my gift out on Monday by Priority Mail, but, they say it will take about 5 days or so, so you know who, be on the lookout!!
  23. Thanks everyone for your input. Morgan I will send you a pick. If I want to edit some pics on my CD, what would be the best way to save it to keep it in the "high resolution"? TIA
